plymouthranger 3,908
After reading the BBC likening Owen to Man utd, as when Larsson joined. Who here would honestly be shocked if Man Utd went after Adriano? THINK ABOUT IT, similar mental issues as with Cantona, would be a very cheap signing, proven CL scorer (unline Ibrahimovic), and bring a whole different dimension to any attack. Hes a giant skillful battering ram of a player, and how often can you honestly say you hear that sentence in football? I may merely be clutching at straws, but Fergie has been known to do crazier things. Yet he always seems to get it right

Andy 69
If he had trouble living in Italy, in a city with a good few Brazilian team mates, he'll have a lot more trouble living in England. Good palyer though. Who? Zlatan?
BlueSuedeSambas 54,231
Adriano wont be moving back to Europe any time soon. Look up the Tim Vickery coloumn on the BBC from a few months back and it will make the situation completely clear.

If united went after Ronaldo, that really would be a gamble Ronaldo has actually been doing really well for Corinthians lately. As unlikely as it he's apparantely desperate to go to the world cup next year. As unlikely as it he's apparantely desperate to go to the world cup next year. He scored an absolute peach a few weeks back: The touch to take him past the defender and the chip Tim Vickery was wanking about that goal for weeks. He's still got the touch. How's about the finish for the first goal there as well?!
