Bears bringing bank-bashing banners today?

A 'legal document' means fuck all to me. I will jump through whichever hoop has been placed in front of me to get the cash then I will ignore it. Your 'legal document' is my scrap piece of paper. The only 'contracts' that I honour are those between my friends and family, not a financial institution. If a prison leaves its gates open and the prisoners walk out, would you chastise the prisoners because the have a 'responsibility' to serve thier sentence? No. It's human nature to avoid penance.

Ruddie my good man, we should have our own splinter group. (tu)

Group....he is an individual he doesn't do groups.....

A group is a collection of individuals.

It's not the number that's the problem, it's the mindset.

You can be an individual within a group.

RANGERS supporters have demanded showdown talks with Ibrox bosses after claiming their protest banners were outlawed.

Fans planned to display up to 12 banners objecting to the influence of bankers Lloyds at their club before the game against Hearts.

But supporters' groups were stunned to be contacted on Saturday morning by police who told them their protest was off because club bosses did not want it.

Rangers maintain there was no ban, although club insiders have refused to rule out over-zealous stewards refusing protesters with banners access to the ground.

However, that has cut no ice with organiser Simon Leslie, whose version of events is at odds with the club's.

Leslie said:"I was contacted by Strathclyde Police at 10am on Saturday and told the protest was off.

"They stressed the ban had not come from the police but from the club who have right of access to the stadium.

Smuggled "They said banners could be fire or tripping hazards but it's difficult to conclude anything other than certain people at the club do not want to offer us freedom of speech."

Rangers fans have turned their attention on director Donald Muir, the turnaround expert on the club board.

Four banners were smuggled past stewards on Saturday, with one declaring Muir to be 'the enemy within', while another read 'Lloyd's - Heartless Bankers'.

Lloyd's have declined to comment on the protest and nobody was available from Strathclyde Police. However, a Rangers spokesman denied anyone at the club had vetoed the fan protest.

He said: "There was no ban. Banners are allowed as long as they fire resistant and not paramilitary or offensive."

Bu t Rangers Trust chairman Stephen Smith has now demanded talks with the club on the weekend protest.

He said: "We will raise the issue with Rangers. We are told the bank is not running the club and yet there appeared to be great anxiety over a protest against the Lloyds Group."
