Limited internet

Been getting limited internet recently, downloading a song for example would get half way and then just stop.

Went into network connections and saw that 'IPv6' was limited so I think that might be the problem. Been messing about with it for a while but nothing has worked so far.

Any ideas?

you should be using ipv4 and not v6.

If the network icon in the bottom right hand corner is saying limited or no network connection it could be your ISP. More than likely it is you router on its way out. If you have another computer you can use then try that and see if the same thing happens or connect it using network cable. You could also try and repair the connection by right clicking on the icon and selecting repair/diagnose and repair.

IPv6 shouldn't even be getting used yet. Should be IPv4. Could be a number of things which are wrong with your connection, would need to know your IP wether ur getting a 169. / 192. or even something like 82. whici s straight from the modem. Would help to diagnose what might be the problem.
