I think Nasri will sign a new deal and agree Barcelona have gave up on Fabregas.

I would say there is differences between Kaka and Fabregas. Kaka is a bigger icon and a regular for his country, whilst Cesc has been unable to get a regular game for Spain(would be a similar situation at Barca)

Kaka has been regarded as one if not the best footballer in the world last five seasons, Fabregas has not.

Fabregas will be a regular in a couple of seasons because Xavi isnt getting any younger and fabregas is still only in his early 20's plenty of time for him to get even better!. Like in the last couple of seasons hes added goals to his game so im just glad arsenal look to of got rid of barca. Even if he was to go Nasri's the perfect raplacement...or ramsey...or wilshere lol

When Xavi gives up international football Fabregas should be the one to benefit unless the highly potential Thiago Alcantara comes through at Barcelona.

Spain has so much talent on the way through from the youth teams it's scary.

Ramsey and Wilshere have potential to be superstars in the future, rate both very highly.

Gets better and better everytime I see him. Ran the show last night!

He deserves a better club than Arsenal because he will win fuck all there.

Typical non educated response. Oh look, Arsenal haven't won a trophy for 5 years, during a re building plan with the new stadium, so they can't ever win a trophy again. Ignoring the fact they are in all cup competitions and 2nd in the league. :anguish:

I knew this would attract you. Like bees around honey :pipe:

The only reason they are in every competition this season is because it is only November. They might be in the hunt for the Premiership come May but as usual they will choke, drop points and be out of the race with a few weeks left.

And they are not good enough to win the CL either.

How do you know that? Liverpool won it in 2005. You aren't mystic meg amac ffs.

The point is though you judge football in the NOW, not the last 5 years. Arsenal have a lot of squad depth, some world class players and with that, comes the ability to be able to win a trophy/s.

You can be out of the race by november too. Look at Liverpool.

What on earth has the re-building of a stadium got to do with their inability to win a trophy?

Lower wage set up compared to Chelsea or Utd, less money to buy players. It was a huge project which is only starting to pay off now in terms of more money being there.

People forget these things.

Can't see Arsenal winning the Premier League or Champions League this season tbh, they lack a cutting edge against the big teams as shown against Chelsea this season.

Not consistent enough, probably have the best chance in a while though because of the decline of Chelsea and United.

Arsenal getting second place this year would be a good achievement still believe they are off the top two.

Finally what players currently at Arsenal are actually world class?

Fabregas , Arshavin on his day , Nasri on current form , Van persie when fit lol

I have no idea why people think he will move to a 'bigger' club.

Arsenal haven't been far at all off winning the CL or EPL in recent seasons, and the whole point Wenger has been making over this period is that when players they have like Nasri reach their potential (which is starting to happen) they will win major trophies.

Fabregas seems a certainty to leave this season, unless they won the CL or maybe the EPL but in Wilshere, Ramsey and Nasri, they have players who are good enough to step into his shoes IMO and IAWO of course ;)

Arsenal will win a trophy this season. Not quite there in terms of the Premiership or Champions League, but... Saying that, stay near the top, put a run together in the buisness end, and who knows!? Manchester United and Chelasea are no great shakes, Spurs, Manchester City and Bolton are not good enough :D

Far too injury-prone, and for that, I would agree with you.

Without his injuries and when he is on top of his game I still don't see what he does that is so great??

Only had 1 good season for Arsenal.

Would people put him in the same bracket as genuine world class strikers such as Drogba, Villa, Eto'o etc?
