Next six games

Dundee Utd have wom 3 out of 7 at Tannadice and conceded more than they've scored.

Last season was last season. Teams change. FFS, we were from a treble winning team to a team that got whitewashed in an entire season by the t*rriers.

Stop lowering your ambitions ffs.

What was Hibs record before they pumped us last Wednesday? 0 wins under Calderwood in three games?

You seem to be missing the most important factor that these teams up their game against us.

End of the day we might go there and win 3 or 4 nil, but we also might go and drop some points(hopefully not)

I'm being realistic, you just seem think we need to show up and win these type of matches.

It'll be made harder if the team isn't freshened up and we keep playing those with niggles.

That was what I was trying to put across but seem to think we can go and win all six games with the current injuries and possible suspensions on the way.

one game at a time. killie are in good form but i expect us to be to strong and win by 2 goals.

looking forward to it.

We certainly need to take each game at a time and not look for towards United on 24th.

Was just looking at the run and thought was a tough period.

We have done very well this season during hard runs with our limited squad numbers.

The last three weeks or so the players have started to look more jaded and it has shown in some of our performances.

That is the main thing that I worry about, really need to get a fully fit squad.

No matter what David Weir said the other day - players not tired and are as fresh as ever - it's obvious to see they are not, we can see it and so can the opposition.

The small squad card doesn't wash with me, but when you have: Jelavic, Webster, Beattie, Edu, Lafferty, Papac, Broadfoot etc etc out, there is not much you can do. Tell me what squad in world football that would still manage to cope whilst seven of their first team squad are out injured, along with a couple who are either completely fucked or playing with injuries.

At this moment in time, Jelavic, Webster, Beattie, Edu, Lafferty, Papac, Broadfoot, Whittaker, Bougherra, Weir(40 years old ffs), McCulloch, Naismith, Weiss and Miller are either injured, or carrying an injury. That is more than half of our squad!

Lafferty/Edu/Papac have only missed one game each this season. Broadfoot has hardly missed a game.

Not sure we can really complain about injuries just yet especially since the unwashed have had 10 players out injured this season, a few during the same period Hinkel, Kayal, Brown, Forrest etc.

I think it's more evident that it's to do with the small squad rather as their lot can lose a few players and still have senior players on their bench who can come on whilst we had a bench full of youth at the weekend.

They haved missed more than that - Lafferty through injury and suspension, Edu with injury, Papac missed 3/4 games...

Broadfoot whilst on the bench, has been playing with an injury, which he is away to see a specialist about. Others have also been playing whilst carrying a knock.

Couldn't really give a shit about celtc, they have by far a bigger squad (29 + youngsters). We don't have the biggest of squad's, still a decent sized one, but when you have 5/6 players out at the one time, it's going to hurt any team, no matter who they are...

I edited that post when I read your own post back. I was talking about how many SPL matches they had missed and frankly it's little same with majority of our games this season.

Lafferty has missed 2 games against St Johnstone and Aberdeen(weekend)

Edu has missed 1 game Aberdeen(weekend)

Papac has missed 1 game Aberdeen(weekend)

Those above sites will show that they have only missed 1 game each through injury bud.

This carrying a knock claim does not really wash with myself tbh, many players play through the pain barrier at times. If they are fit enough to start I personally don't think they can argue about a slight issue.

In all, they have missed more, whether it's due to injury or whatever!

Many players play through the pain barrier but when they are coming out stating that it's basically stopping from them to run, then there is a problem: McCulloch, Broadfoot and Weiss have mentioned it, and Kenny Miller still has his shin splint problem.

If your not fully fit and there are other options available, then the manager should be making the changes, but with some, that is never going to happen.

Again, we don't have the biggest of squads, but we still have 25 plus to chose from, but when 3/4/5 of them are out, along with others playing with an injury, we are always going to struggle - although we have done ok up until now.

We have a hard period of games in the next 3/4 weeks especially with our squad that gets thinner per week.

Jelavic, Edu, Webster(as per usual), Beattie, Weiss, Broadfoot, Papac all nursing injuries at the moment.

I wonder if the likes of Foster, Kerkar, Wylde, Fleck and Hutton will get more playing time in the next few weeks.
