What is the point of this meaningless thread....to give Murray a few thousand more season ticket holders

Do you guyz have no credibility at all

I actually have to agree with you here to an extent Fish.

Do people really expect Murray to spend say 20 million on the stadium and the same kind of money on the playing squad when he is actively trying to flog us?

And even if expansion was to occur, would people be happy if this was to the detriment of our transfer budget?

I couldn't care less if Ibrox is smaller than Septic Park, at least our stadium isn't an utter shithole like theirs is, and Ibrox will still be standing in 20 years time.

What matters is on the park, we need to get this sorted out before we even consider any redevelopment of Ibrox.

Just checked the main stand is listed, designed by Archibald Leitch

Leitch was the main man for footie stands.

Ibrox is one of the few left, there was Roker Park, The old 'shelf' at White Hart lane and Everton (it might still be there). Can't think off hand of any others.

Think he also had something to do with Craven Cottage?

Cant see us adding any more seats for a while untill we are a bit more financially stable. The 2 corners where the screens are, are the obviuos place for more seats. In theory it would be possible to lower the pitch a few feet and get more seats in that way. Just looking at the ground, i know we couldnt completely fill in the corners at the main stand but surely it would be possible to get some seats in there. Even if we only got 500 seats at each corner thats a potential extra 20000 from each match that could pay the wages of another player.
