bonhillbear 58 Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 Another day, another player goes elsewhere.Wither we rated the players or not, Ally McCoist has publicly came out and stated his interest and hope that he'd be able to sign these players.So why, are one after another, deciding that Rangers aren't good enough for them?I can understand Rangers setting a limit salary wise on what we're willing to offer players but surely we've got to be competitive against other teams in our negotiations.Hemed, Conway, Danns all away to much smaller teams.Goodwillie, Cuellar, Wallace bids made that were not accepted and so far no more bids made.No new contract signed so far for McGregor, Whittaker, and Davis, deespite this being McCoist's priority.And considering we've already lost Healy, Foster, Weiss, Diouf, Weir, and with Bougherra looking for a move away, it is imperative that we start doing our talking privately, away from the papers, and wait until we've got a deal signed before giving interviews to all the rags. If these players ambition is plying their trade in the championship, or fighting for relegation in spain instead of guaranteed trophies and playing in the champions league, then there is nothing rangers can do to convince them to play here except for paying a huge wage to get their services.
