AGM_72 3,648
Really impressed tonight. Seemed to run out of steam towards the end of the game but looks to be the next in a long line of young and talented players coming through into the German national squad. Wasn't sure how he'd do making the step up from Mainz to Leverkusen, and it will be interesting to see how his season goes, but if tonights showing is anything to go by all he was lacking was a goal to round off his performance. Guest
Some of the players Germany have coming through are unreal. Wouldnt be a bad bet having them for the 2014 and 1018 world cups
AGM_72 3,648
I put them on for World Cup 2010 back in 2009, woulda got £320 back
AGM_72 3,648
I think Germany are the only realistic challengers to the Spanish for these Euros. Could maybe do with another solid center back, but midfield to attack is just so full of ability and strength in depth that it's quite frightening. Cappa 24
Germany's my tip for the Euro's. Only weak area is right back as it looks like Lahm will be left back from now on. The CB's at the Euro's should be Hummels and Howedes. Badstuber is dodgy and Mertesacker is too slow. Gotze will probably be a back up which tells you everything about Germany going forward. the goal machine 7,806
Germany also have the advantage of not having a Real Madrid/Barcelona divide between the players, which may sound small right now, but could well do some damage to the Spanish side in the longer term.I'm not sure about that. In the friendly against Chile, all of the Real and Barcelona players were sticking up for each other in the huge argument that took place. GF John 169
Klose could play in the major tournaments until he's sixty and he'd still be popping up with goals. Not seen too much of this Schurrle kid but he looks as though he has Progeria.
