keithgersbear 3,225
Looked like they would, great game.Arsenal only four points behind Liverpool after such an awful start and people think this Liverpool team are much better!?

Creampuff 22,628
Newcastle have been wildly underrated this year.Best defensive record in the league before today!
Clemdog 39,389
Had to leave for work at 2-1..Just caught the highlights on MOTD, looked a fantastic finish What a goal from Ameobi, must have been a great second half. Newcastle have fair started off well.
Clemdog 39,389
Why did VDV get subbed? Injury? Mate, I don't think I can remember him finishing a game for Spurs.

BlueAndWhite 37
I don't really like VDV as a player. Drifts out of games far too often.
Clemdog 39,389
Did he not last 90 minutes against United?Certainly has a problem playing full games, happens for Holland and was the same at Real Madrid. He did indeed. But he always seems to be subbed when I'm watching Spurs games !
Clemdog 39,389
Since I have brought Rafa into my fantasy football team, you're excluded from watching any Tottenham games. I'm going to make sure I do just to annoy you.
simplythebest 11,453
The subbing will drive VDV out soon enough.
THFC6061 4
The subbing will drive VDV out soon enough. He has a reoccuring problem with his hamstring, so as the match wears on, he's more likely to get injured.Playing around an hour will significantly decrease the risk of any damage.I thought Harry made a very good change, as Defoe had an immediate effect on the match and scored a cracking goal.Overall, a draw was a very fair result but it did underline the importance of Ledley King to Spurs' defence - we only conceded the two goals once he went off. THFC6061 4
Ledley's problems are well documented, but Spurs also had Michael Dawson and William Gallas out injured too.Once King went off at Newcastle, we effectively had our fourth and fifth choice central defenders playing.
