Davie2909 21
I agree with the OP even when we have gone through a good run winning we are still playing some horrendous football IMO. We need a change and it needs to be done soon
ricksen_da_best 2,034
We were extremely lucky to get 3 points today , we only had 4 attackers in that team and with Bedoya being one of them we'd have been aswell playing with davie weir behind jelavic. Scudd 0
I personally think its really the standard of players we can afford right now, that is our problem. How many will stand by Ally and th team, if we end up winning heehaw ?
IamRangers 12
After another baffling formation and performance today I am almost too peeved to try and make sense of what is going on with our manager. Here are my biggest bug bears at the mo:1. No style or identity of play2. Insistence on crow-barring players into positions unfamiliar to them when there are players who play there are waiting in the wings3. Insistence on crow barring in players to play as holding midfield roles in what is a very poor SPL (McCulloch, Bartley)4. Lack of creativity when taking free kicks/dead balls5. The continuation of playing long balls. It happens in every game but our manager never addresses it
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
As long as we are above raselik fans dont care how shite we are sadly. Thats the limit of some fans ambitions incredibly.

Thats the limit of some fans ambitions incredibly.I agree mate. Some people just cannot see beyond maintaining a lead over one of the worst Celtic teams in years. As long we are less pish etc. etc. It's short termism and it has been crippling us (and Celtic TBH) for years and I fear that we will never progress. On the same point we are continually told that Scottish football is sheite and if we don't have a ton of money we will never amount to much in Europe and all that. What a load of keek. Ok we will never win the thing but if you look at the decent displays by teams like Basel, PAO Salonika, APOEL and FC Copenhagen, they have shown that great strides can be made by playing decent football on low budgets. Compare that to our truly awful showings in europe over the last few years
gogzy 31,195
I hate that justification. Rangers were absolutely dreadful today and ICT can consider themselves extremely unlucky not to have taken 3 points.Ally is making some really poor decisions at the moment.ICT did NOT deserve 3 points. They deserved what they got..nothing.Dirty bastards kicked jela all over the park, pretty sure we had about 6 or 7 shots on target. We did not play great today but some of the abuse some fans are giving is way OTT IMO. Spot on about money mate. Not just decent football but good football, attacking football, entertaining football. Our current manager learned all he knows from one the most negative managers in the country(UK), he doesnt know how to play attractive, entertaining football and his coaches are not good enough to coach better football ideas into our players. Our shite set pices for example are no surprise to me, our coaches dont possess the technical skills which teach players how to hit a dead ball properly. Our set pieces have been a shambles under Walter first time round, Dick has a few specialists, Eck went back to hit and hope, PLG knew how to take advantage of set peices just couldnt defend them, Walter came back and set pieces were put to the back of the queue again, now Ally has clearly shown he has no interest in set pieces, they are as bad now as they have ever been. We tried change and fans threw the toys out the pram because we were behind Selik, a decent Selik team who made the last 16 twice. The Selik of the last few years have been abysmal and we failed to take proper advantage of their frailties with our poor European perforamances, losing out on more than £28m from 2 dreadful and embarrassing European exits. Sure we won the titles and some cups but the bigger picture is always more important, sadly our fans dont care, or rather, not enough care. For me it started with Fergie and his high floater to the back post. ie. An utterly pointless pass that relies on the break of the ball and is so long in the air that defenders could have read half the Sunday Times before thinking about how they are going to deal with it. After Fergie the mantle was handed over to Kevin Thomson and then Steven Davis. It makles think that they don't even practice this kind of thing at Murray Park. And don't get mne started on Jelavic taking throw in's the other week...? Worse than all the anti-football stuff, worse than seeing Big Lee in midfield, worse than seeing an Arsenal youth crow barred(love that!) out of position into our midfield, worse than seeing Rangers players scared to shoot from outside the box. Back to set pieces, its basically a lack of knowledge from managers and coaches and lack of bottle and skill from players. They cant practice them, the evidence is clear. If i played for Rangers the security man would have drag me off the training pitch at night. I would be at Murray Park every minute of the day after training to work on my skills and weaknesses. If it was good enough for guys like Beckham and Nakamura it is good enough for our guys. Over paid, lazy and pampered. Thats what they are. SirWalterSmithLegend 206
On chances created from both teams, a draw would have probably been a fair result.Apparently ICT had 55% possession. Jesus.
JograBear 1,074
Apparently ICT had 55% possession. Not the first time we have been outplayed at Ibrox this season. Luckily we got a win this time.
IamRangers 12
Jesus. Add that to all the other "great" teams that have had more possession than us at Ibrox this season. The St.Johnstone game was the worst...
the sliver fox 1,672
The biggest bug bear for me today was arriving to find out that a bloody left back was starting in fucking centre mid, what the hell was that about? Do the other mid fielders at the club inspire so little confidence in the coaching staff they can't get a game in their natural position ahead of other players been played out of position? It was fucking mind boggling.

Why else would 3 non midfielders get the nod before him? Who's next? Kirk Broadfoot in midfield? If I was Matt McKay I would on the phone to my agent as soon as I could. If he can't get a game now, he never will.

RyanRangersfc 0
After Bendiksons recent performances how papac gets played in CM ahead of him i just dont know. Poor coaching, poor managerial decisions and dreadful transfer activity. Super Ally will never be a football manager as long as i live and i love the guy as a Rangers legend.
