The Godfather 71,895 Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 VILLARREAL, Spain — Villarreal says forward Giuseppe Rossi has re-injured his right knee and will be sidelined for six more months, ending his hopes of playing for Italy at this year’s European Championship.Rossi tore his anterior cruciate ligament during a game against Real Madrid on Oct. 26 and had surgery. Villarrreal said Rossi tore the ligament again during a training session Friday and needs another operation. He will miss the start of next season.
