govanblue 16,847
Ah got you now. Colin, the boss at RDF Just had a look at his twitter page - couple of good comments there..."Good to see so many AC Milan fans in our Megastore today buying Rangers goods. Said Good Luck to a few. Turns out they didn't need it""Football Distress Survey: Scottish League 1 has seen a 700% boost in Average gates. They should call that 'The Rangers Effect'"

govanblue 16,847
Update 3:Erskine were telling me about one of their residents (Alan) who is a big Jim Baxter fan (he knew him back in the day).Poor old Alan doesn't have a picture of JB, so he was asking if anyone wanted to swap him one for his Brian Laudrup picture.Well obviously there's no way I could let any of you deprive Alan of his Brian Laudrup picture, so I've taken the liberty of buying him some Christmas presents from The Lunch Fund.So we've got him:Two Jim Baxter A4 sized pictures, and 2 frames to mount them...Slim Jim Baxter - The definitive biography (2nd hand)And my spare Nacho scarf (new design) We also bought "The Jim Baxter Story" DVD (2nd hand) - and we'll give that to Alan's home, so that he and everyone else can watch it whenever they want...Total cost: £35 quid or so. govanblue 16,847
A wee bonus... I managed to blag 3 copies of this excellent book today...It's a massive hardback, full of awesome pictures, which will hopefully stir a few memories in some of the Residents. So anyway - 3 copies, one for each home. That's Christmas sorted
govanblue 16,847
Update:I went to Erskine to deliver their presents today. Mission accomplished. It was an excellent experience, and I'll tell you all about it later (got some pics too). But one detail I'll reveal now, is that we've now adopted a 4th home - Erskine Bishopton. (I'll tell you why later too).We have a few ideas about how we can really help Erskine - and not all of them involve me taking money off you (but obviously some of them do. )
