Manager's Reaction

Recommended Posts

9 months in to the new managers reign and we trip up against Falkirk; everyone says not good enough, we have come far. Last season we would not have scored 2 goal away to Falkirk. Our style of football is night and day compared to what it was and we are all enjoying the Rangers more than over the last 3 years; this is MW doing and we should enjoy it. We will have times when we lose to teams we should beat but that comes with our style of play.

My take is that at 2 up, the team started to think about saving themselves for the septic game and that is a problem we will have to deal with until it is played. The septic game will be on their minds over the next 5 weeks, not wanting to get injured or drift out the team. MW needs to use this and tell them everyone is playing for a spot in the team to play septic, so maximum levels of consistent performance is what is needed; he can't ignore it so he may as well use it.
