Gaz52 11,837
After guiding them to the league one title, big heid has got the chop. Wolves also sack their manager the same day Warburton's name is probably going to be getting mentioned a lot over the next few weeks...
RM Monitor And Standards Officer 112,982
See tbh that's a bit shite on Caldwell in a managerial sense. The time afforded to managers down south is absolutely pathetic

Gaz52 11,837
Thought it was very harsh on Caldwell to be honest. They obviously don't think he's the guy to keep them in the Championship

A lot of managers are pretty harshly treated
Captain Hilts 12,819
I thought he'd been sacked ages ago tbh.

As stated it can be a ruthless business and recent success quickly forgotten .

Don't like Caldwell one bit but looking purely at managerial record etc you'd say it's harsh

Saying that , there's more than a few on RM who would bin Warburton under the similar circumstances . Definitely seems harsh though , managers are basically only as good as their last 3 or 4 games . The clubs have too much money and too little patience IMO , and there's always plenty of coaches willing to fill the dug out no matter how the previous guy was treated. BlearyEyedBear 4,148
I gotta say that's pretty harsh on Caldwell. It's not as if they've been getting humped, and have drawn a few of their recent games.
barrymorrison1 1,039
Karl Robinson will be getting touted for these jobs.
wully 49,814
Warburton linked this morning. They wanted him as director of football to Uwe Rosler before apparently.

Problem is Warburton's budget dwarfs every single team in Division 1 and the top tier (Celtic aside). We ought to have won division 1 at a canter. We should be comfortably in second place now yet Warburton is contriving to fail at even that. No surprise people want his head as he's coming across as stubborn and lacking answers.
