DW1872 1,207
Murty has been dumped into a bad situation and he is giving his all. He helped us win the game and if he helps us win tomorrow then credit where credits due. He's not a Rangers manager but at least his team showed fight and character to win when it looked like we'd lost 2 points. Fight and character that has been missing for large parts of the season. BUT - compared to MW - at least: - he subbed off a forward and put on a defender, recognising the importance of trying to protect the points - he made the right decision and took Toral off when he was blowing his chips near the end. Such was MW's lack of tactical nous that I honestly don't even think he would have managed that. What people don't realise is under murty the players take more shots outside of the box. They try to break and counter and when they lose possession they have a better shape to win the ball back.
LochendBilly 8,413
The guy didn't ask for the job, but he is doing his best. Not a manager but a youth coach, as long as he is looking after the team I will back him. A step up from MW so far, as he is willing to change things.....a bit.
