Bellshill_Bear 1,105
I have my doubts, or rather fear the same happening which always happens to us. A big build up followed by the same shite. But i have a strange feeling this might be it. The season where we go back to what we are used too. Do we ignore they also lost 1 game in 13 after the defeat up in sheep land(which was not deserved) winning 9 of those games until we lost unjustly at home to the scum on new years eve? That makes it sound like the team were struggling to get any amount of wins all throughout the season! We were also unbeaten in 3 games(won 2 and draw at the scum) prior to Pedro taking over, would think it was 5 defeats in a row before he arrived! Revision at it's finest. Struggling to get wins throughout the season would be a fucking understatement and if you think that squad last season was anything other than dross, you're watching the wrong sport! Jock was a man of his time who could be both genuinely 'hard' and a real football man but the relative comparison that I think would be fairer, would be with Jock during his time in Seville. Pedro strikes me as someone who is (outside the football where I haven't a clue how he comes accross) in part playing a very difficult role with varying degrees of conviction and seriousness. IMO he needs to forget about 'noise' (eg. press conferences, green boot declarations, etc) and concentrate on the football.
