Drum 160
SD have a working relationship with every sportswear supplier. They dominate the UK's retail sector, the brands have no choice if they want to compete. We can be as nostalgic or forward-thinking as we like about Puma or anyone else. We cannot compete with SD for foot fall on the high street. If we want to maximise revenue then an investment in a compelling internet based retail presence is our best shot. Puma, Nike, Adidas - take your pick, prove we can shift their brand (and we can) they will happily work with us.
TheGovanIniesta 1,000
Adidas or Nike is a must. Kits are far nicer and don’t look like cheap shite even if the designs can be lazy, not to mention the fact they might actually produce other merchandise that doesn’t look like a p5s art project. The merchandise on sale in the ground was made by Adidas and was a Florida Cup branded Adidas sponsor the tournament. Quite nice stuff bought the obligatory t-shirt as did the guys who were at the game sitting with me.
