dafloppyone 0
Ronaldo, Luis Figo and James McFadden are standing before God at the throne of Heaven. God looks at them and says; "before granting you a place at my side, I must first ask you what you believe in." Addressing Ronaldo first he asks, "what do you believe?" Ronaldo looks God in the eye and states passionately, "I believe Football to be the food of life. Nothing else brings such unbridled joy to so many people from the slums of Rio to the bright lights of Madrid. I have devoted my life to bring such joy to people who stood on the terraces supporting their club." God looks up and offers Ronaldo the seat to his left. He then turns to Luis Figo, "and you, Luis, what do you believe?" Figo stands tall and proud, "I believe courage, honour and passion are the fundamentals to life and I've spent my whole playing career providing a living embodiment of these traits." God, moved by the passion of the speech offers Figo the seat to his right. Finally, he turns to Faddy "and you, James, what do you believe?" "I believe" says Faddy "you're sitting in my seat." Muff 245
Only caught the 2nd half as was working. Great result. Lets hope Brown's injury is not serious, need him for Georgia. Thought he was really good from what I saw, McFadden also.
Guest The Brown Brogue
Still wishing we had nabbed Brown - with he and Hutton in our team we'd be nigh on unstoppable. Brown was shite today, runs about and does pretty much nothing else. Lost count of the number of misplaced passes he had today, mainly of a distance of about 5 yards as well. Hutton on the other hand had another stormer, and his run and pass for the 3rd goal was outstanding. Ferguson also had a fantastic game and single-handedly held the midfield together for long spells. Muff 245
Brown was quality and I wish we had signed him, he's exactly what we are missing. As for Hutton, if there is a better RB is Europe right now then I'm a tim!
FlippinEck 3,844
i thought brown was outstanding, so he had a couple of poor passes, so did barry, and barry was great too, the understanding between barry/brown brown/hutton is brilliant atm aswell. As for Hutton, if there is a better RB is Europe right now then I'm a tim! I have to disagree, Brown was far from quality. As I said he runs about a lot, but his technique, passing etc is very poor. J_RFC87 762
Hutton really is the best right back in Europe. So much that Ukraine focused their attack down Scotlands left back/centre side, and very rarely going near hutton. And when they did...File > Back pocket. Deserved MOTM. Barry was superb again and Mcculluchs goal...fecking pick that one out. Weir just does the usual, couple of cracking challenges. Absolutly delighted that no-one got injured, Rangers players played excellent and Scotland won.
