rfc_no1fan 13
Our midfield will be ineffective now that our right back (Alan Hutton) wont be getting special treatment throughout the game. Teams were beginning to man mark and at times double man mark Al Hutton to try and shut down his productivity, which in turn allowed our midfield to find space in advanced areas of the field. Now that this threat has gone, teams will now again focus on stopping Barry Ferguson. Not only have Rangers lost a right back, but we have lost a player who caused the opposition problems and a player who would have been in every manager's tem talk before the game. 1 player may not make a team, But we have to bring in a "quality" player, who is an impact player who can change games. Failure to do this in the remaining 31 hours of the transfer window and we will struggle and could find ourselves blowing our 4 point lead.

Thermopylae 15,287
We must replace him in the squad, not necessarily in that position, but another quality player
jamd1986 8
We must replace him in the squad, not necessarily in that position, but another quality player Shame theres not enough of it around either at this time of year or rarely for the amount of money we received for Hutton. The sale of such a player for a club who want to rebuild into a quality team again is ludicrous to say the least.
