minstral 5,375
first of all fantastic result but why did we not close them down quicker, instead of giving them all the space in the world. we let them advance towards our goal without a tackle going in by just standing off them, which was asking for trouble plus every time we cleared our lines it went straight to their player. we got through thanks to our goalkeeper, but i think we defend far to deep. Boab 73
I was thinking tonight 'Are we just a bit too much defensive?' See your point M

I know what you mean, Minstral. A few times I was screaming at the telly for our guys to look for the pass and take the pressure off our defence. But we got there in the end. Bazza 21
The biggest fall out of our game these days is that most tackles result in a freekick. Very dangerous with them at set pieces. I think players attitudes are now more concerned with putting pressure on there opponents and forcing them into mistakes. I would much rather see the likes of Dailly crash into a few tackles but thats a dangerous game these days.
nvager 498
Great result, but our "attacking" midfield was missing all night. CA, BF and SD were disappointing for me - esp BF. Minstral is correct in what he says.
tgblue 2
based on expected performances BF was the poorest on the pitch, his passing was appalling that said we're through thats all that matters!
LucyBlue 2,278
My view.... Were that an Italian team they'd be praised for their professionalism. There was a simple job to be done. And it was done.
highland ted 0
this time last year St Johnstone and Dunfermline had knocked us out of the domestic cups . Now were challenging for 4 trophies can we not buy into Walters long term plan
