Bluepeter9 5,167
Now Fulham are all but relegated will Cousin still be wanted there/ stilll want to go there? I think NOT! but are we contracturally bound to sell him ?
JohnGalbraith 0
I think we are contractually bound as in his contract theres a release cause of 3 million. The minute someone faxed that offer or submits it in writing then the ball is in Daniels court.
rangersross 6,653
Now Fulham are all but relegated will Cousin still be wanted there/ stilll want to go there? I think NOT! but are we contracturally bound to sell him ? I don't believe we are, however if they make another offer we should be as willing as possible - good, easy negotiations might give us an advantage in dealing for Steve Davis
papaguy51 912
No, he won't go now. He never hid his desire to play in the PREMIERSHIP, but I think we can all forget about the £3mil now. Not that I'm bothered, I still say he's the best all round striker at the club and we miss him when we're playing 1 up front without him.
Canadaready 9,437
If it is all up to him, I doubt he would want to go there when we will be loving life in the CL again.
ChampagneSuperNovo 0
fulham wont lose many players as they are all of championship quality and no more, so they are likely to go straight back up. i reckon he'd go
JohnGalbraith 0
I dont think he would go to Fulham if they got relegated. Who else was in the hunt for him?

soulboy 2,521
Can't see him going to Fulham now maybe one of the teams coming up will want him.
Orwell 0
I imagine Willy Mackay was selling him for £3m knowing full well that when Fulham would get relegated Cousin would demand another transfer only six months after moving from Rangers. Another nice % for Willy there. Cousin must now be surely questioning any decision to move to Fulham knowing that he will playing CCC football next season. I still reckon he'll leave, not to Fulham though.
mithrandir713 8
I was under the impression that it was a done deal and that the uefa hearing was to see if it took place in January or in the summer? Or was it totally scratched when uefa said no?
stuvey 5
mibe he will play with us until the mid season window opens. that way he has some CL games to show off in and make himself known.
rfc_no1fan 13
Whoever gets promoted from the Championship will bid £3 million for Cousin in the summer. Wigan and Sunderland will be interested as well
Bluepeter9 5,167
I suppose that is the answer - Cousin is likely to go but not nessecarily to Fulham but to some other bottom of the league Premiership team - who can increase his wages and afford the £3M. Sigh - still he cost us £1M (I think) so a reasnoble return, what he has done for us and £2M profit in the bank.
