If the owners do take their role seriously, then it could work. If, on the other hand, they treat it like a game of FM, it'll never work. Will be interesting to see what they do. Mike Newells Sexist Army 2 Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 The manager makes recommendations and picks players to buy which then goes to a vote, they spent a bit of money buying Michael Gash (lulz) off Cambridge and won the FA Trophy at the end of last season. So it's not worked out too bad so far. Litmus test is this season if they can use the extra cash to go for promotion to the football league, some big teams in that league though Cambridge united, Oxford, Torquay, Wrexham, York City, etc. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
