martyb1873 0
If the stadium was to get done, what capacity would u want it? I d go for 75-80,000. If we are going to do it we might as well do it right

martyb1873 0
we should have made it bigger when it got done the last time
gary2006 123
would love to see the stadium capacity increased but i think murray would rather make a car park and a casino and ask the loyal fanbase for even more money murray is quick to label us bigots but even quicker to ask us for money
Mansion 120
He should take out they big screens! and fill the capacity! they were meant to do that when it got refurbished but put they big screens in instead that would at least raise it to 60 000 Is There Anywhere Else In The Stadium U Could Add???? Youllneverwinaway 0
I dont see the point in raising it to 80,000 for 2 games a season.
kplfishtank 4,667
I dont see the point in raising it to 80,000 for 2 games a season. i agree we would be better gettin rid of scoreboards take it to 55,000-60,000 as the demand is not there look at the san giro half the time there loads of empty seats

Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
i see on the gers website that we have a new deal with coca cola"sorry ive not put the link in"is this the start of the new plans that we call the stadium after them Not at all, this deal with Cola is purely for the beverages etc that are sold and the players using powerade and for them to advertise on the screens at Ibrox, nothing to do with being the major sponsor like Carling are for our tops and has absolutely nothing to do with trying to raise cash for any form of re-development. As for plans for Ibrox, I do believe there was about 3 different sets of plans drawn up for this possible venture, but that isn't going to happen under the current credit crunch, and even though we have also been given permission to re-develop the surrounding area I think it will be hard for SDM to find financial backers for this to also go ahead under the current climate. MayboleLoyal_atb 3,772
we should have made it bigger when it got done the last time Why? We don't sell out all SPL games. I like Ibrox the way it is.
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
With regards to the agreement with Glasgow Council and other agencies, here is the thread that Boss did for RM before it was made official, if no-one has read it. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83977
