Hi all, I am a new member here, registered a long time ago so probably need to change my username. My thread here is about how we get to the next level? We all know that several of our first team players aren't fit to wear the badge so where do we go from here?

Will SDM give the go ahead for this £700m casino and if so how much of the profit of this business venture will go directly into our coffers to re-build the squad? And taking into consideration the recession and plummeting property market will the major redvelopment outside Ibrox take place within the next decade? I'm not so sure it will and that worries me because I think without major changes to our current squad we could find ourselves playing catch up with Septic for the forseeable future. :unionflag:

I think the SPL is in the bag as far as this season goes, the sceptic are showing what an excuse of a team they are. for the future? i dont know. we need to generate more money because unlike the EPL we get pennys from the SPL.

Yeah but I meant by "where we stand" as in are we going onwards and upwards towards rebuilding a squad, hopefully with any money gained through the £700m redvelopment. If this does come about i'm guessing it would attract a lot more fans, possibly tourists staying in the hotel and going to a game etc... which would in turn lead to increased revenue and more transfer funds to the squad? I'm jus throwing some thoughts out there.

I think the most important thing we have to do is look to build up a good and knowledgable scouting team capable of attracting players who will imporve and can then be sold on at a later date.
