Blue Stars Bearette 1
will be interesting to see how Pete does Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear is hoping to tie up a deal which would see winger Peter Lovenkrands remain at the club until the end of the season. Lovenkrands has recently has his contract terminated by mutual consent at Bundesliga side Schalke. The former Rangers man has had a frustrating time with injuries this season and on his return to fitness found himself out of favour with the German side. Kinnear offered the Denmark international a week-long trial but after just two days the player's performances have prompted the Magpies boss to offer him a short-term deal. "We have spoken about him staying with me until the end of the season and then looking at it at the end of the season, and that's the position we find ourselves in at the moment," Kinnear said. "He is happy to do that, so hopefully we can tie something up and make something permanent at the end of this week for the rest of the season." Van Moyles 0
When we signed him we narrowly beat Newcastle to his signature, I may be wrong but i think they were a bit pissed off at the time too.
