  1. BRETTFAVREBRETTFAVREBRETTFAVREBRETTFAVREBRETTFAVRE That didn't really answer my question. The only thing the Vikings have going for them is Brett Favre, who will retire pretty damn soon. Are you kidding me? Jared Allen is one of the best Defensive Ends in the game. The guy is a sacking machine. Adrian Peterson is also the best running back in the NFL. The Vikes probably won't get anywhere close to winning the superbowl without Favre but he's certainly not the only thing going for them. That's like saying the only thing going for the Colts is Manning. They've also got Hutchinson, arguably the best Guard in the league and the steroid driven Williams pair at DT. Wonder if they'll miss Chester Taylor though...
  2. Pick the Seahawks Never won a superbowl... got cheated out of one few years back... so you'll be supporting potential and you get to hate 49ers and cardinals...gays and desert folk...I rest my case.
  3. They interviewed him on the radio and he said he was fine Williams will be annoyed that lil bit of hidden revenge never worked for embarassing him
  4. Dez Bryant pulled up with an ankle injury in training, most likely just a sprain though.
  5. I thought Aaron Curry was bad enough last year with Seahawks and then there was Crabtree. Only sport in the world where so much is put in to potential every year.
  6. cheers bud, I'll try and wake myself to watch it... highly unlikely though
  7. what time does the game kick off tomorrow?
  8. Woah. Saying we have an issue. You'll be in for it now. Lol Good post and thank you I agree there is an issue within our support, Its just a shame the media casually over looks similar acrions in our rivals support
  9. I dont think Highlander there is any doubt that there remains a small element of our support who fall short of the expected standards. But that should in no way hinder us from defending ourselves....not against justified criticism...but lies. I totally agree D'art that's what I said. In modern day Scotland there isn't an even playing field from the media or governing bodies. I think many within the support realise there is a small vocal minority who will cause us trouble, but whilst there is the same in the other support across the city not being so publicly highlighted then its hard to justify us being utterly silent whilst they get away with whatever they want.
  10. Have to say I am split down both sides. Totally agree with OP's well worded point as to why aren't we defending ourselves and pointing out Celtic's supporters behaviour as well. I also agree that we should be trying to eradicate certain elements of our support. We really need an equal playing field though from the press and governing bodies which just doesn't seem to be happening. Reason I rarely post in threads like this though is no matter how many well debated posters their are here to many just tend to refer to the ones who disagree with each other on here as Tims, or it becomes just a bait fest. They totally pass off any questions that are sensible and say others are Tims. Anyway, its sore up here sitting on this fence so I'll shut up now.
  11. do they go in to euro cup qualifiers if they go out at this stage or is that just next round?
  12. Postiga just needs 1 minute against the scum
  13. if you moved to a 3-5-2 because of a papac injury, you'd most likely be looking at walter playing whittaker as the right winger. Which may not be the worst of options with his scoring record of late.
  14. I would say yes, but Walter has a way of getting away from it if he can. Say Thomson does go that leaving us with only 3 players who have played centre mid regularly in McCulloch, Edu and Davis. Say 1 of them gets injured you bring one of the young centre mids like Ness on to the bench for next squad in the case of one of them getting injured I think Walter will be more inclined to play Naismith in that position again like he did once or twice last season than risk Ness etc. I guess if theres an injury crisis like we had then really he'll be left with no option.
  15. Also kinda interested as to how Seahawks are gonna develop their pass rush this season with the loss of Patrick Kerney. I've read that they expect Aaron Curry to really show his high draft value this season and deliver some sacks and have had him training with the DE's aswell as ofcourse the linebackers. Been watching some of the stuff about this Foley guy we got from the CFL who is meant to be a physical beast and they've got him in mind for the Leo position.
  16. NFC west should be competitive this season, just a shame its cause none of us are really that good but heres hoping Seahawks can atleast grab 2nd. I think 49ers are the most probable candidates for 1st and without Warner, and I really haven't been impressed with Leinart at all, and with Boldin gone, heres hoping Cardinals come 3rd. Don't think the Rams will be competing for spots but I expect them to be much more of a challenge this season.
  17. He got up to come on in injury time, and wasted time tying his boots etc to try and get the ref to blow the whistle to finish the game so he didn't have to go on.
  18. Totally agree, I expect this attitude from 'Them', not us.
  19. Would you's have said the same to Stuart McCall, I don't think so. Hope the boy recovers well.
  20. In your opinion. No problem with that, but being told that everyone should want Barca to win, now that's pish. I don't think that everyone should want Barca to win but I do feel sorry for those neutrals who don't. Chelsea fans I can understand. Any neutral who loves football and cannot appreciate the beauty of Barcelona is either insane or has been corrupted by watching too many Rangers hatchet men like Graham Roberts and Terry Hurlock I don't want them to win primarily cause i want someone else to win it. Also, the main dislike i have for them stems from Messi's comment about "anti-football", so it's nothing to do with being a Chelsea fan. I'm pretty sure that messi comment, regarding the game against us,was already cleared up as a misunderstanding? that messi just meant we played really defensively, not that we played "anti football". I'm sure there was something to do with the translating, I could be wrong though.
  21. I know a couple of the Livingston younger guys and I met Ross Perry a few times through a friend.
  22. Great Song, would love to hear that. Or hear Lynyrd Skynyrd - Red, White and Blue.
