OneDavidCooper 2,505
I'd love it to be McCall but I think the chances of that are fairly slim. I think Warburton and whoever else would have to turn us down before that happened.

I'm surprised that at such short odds none of the media is really running with him as the next manager.

I'm surprised that at such short odds none of the media is really running with him as the next manager.I wouldn't be surprised if we are both each others first choice but are a bit away from a deal.Could be the bookies know he's really the only one in contention

OneDavidCooper 2,505
Stick on 3 year deal. That would be my prediction too. Anything bigger isn't worth the paper its written on because rarely does any manager see out more than 3. Either he leaves for a new job or he is sacked. KingKirk 25,643
Stick on 3 year deal.just get him in that's all I care about... This has been the 3rd meeting between the 2 groups if that info is true.. Can't see a deal not been done now... If he's there preferred candidate
Loyal-Bear 229
Hope the Warburton deal can happen. McCall coming in would be a downer! Mols2806
OneDavidCooper 2,505
If there have been 3 meetings, and we don't know if there has, then I'd have thought that money might be an issue.

It could likely be a negotiation on that side of things.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
He's a millionaire. So are most Premier League footballers but they still haggle. The problem at Brentford was the chairman's obsession with stats wasn't it?

Regardless of the money in the bank this would be a huge decision and if you were considering the job you'd want to make sure your deal was right surely ?
