More pro's than con's for me so I am happy to see him stay on and see what he can do if we ever sort the fucking defence out.

The least of our worries is trying to replace Wes, can think of more that need to get the punt out the door first.

Looks good in this team of dross however certainly no Goram, Klos, McGregor etc. If we get a decent bid in the summer I'd take it and run. He doesn't help our play from the back, to slow and predictable - blame warburton for that. Plenty alternatives out there, this team needs a massive shake up from back to front!

Totally disagree. Wes was getting pelters from folk at the start of the season because he was quick in giving the ball out to defenders instead of booting it up the pitch but now he is putting it up the park more often he's getting grief for holding on to the ball!

Granted there are a couple of times where he could maybe release it quicker but overall his distribution has been good. Anyway, you don't want your keeper quickly lumping the ball up to a loan striker while there are still 5 or 6 of the opposition still in and around our box.

Also if he looks good in a team full of dross then surely that's a good thing for a keeper. The guys you mention (without taking away from their legendary status) all had better teams in front of them.

His kicking is pretty good IMO.

Sone folk are just desperate to shout 'get it up the fucking park' before he's even caught it, when there's absolutely no point to it.

Launch it to Garner who doesn't have another player within 30 yards of him, or hold onto it and control our attacks...

It's not that . Actually his kicking ( long distances ) is pretty good , but far too often this season his distribution to the nearest defender is often rushed and puts the defender under pressure due to the opposition forwards still being in the vicinity . It's a mixture of poor decision making and some of our defense unable to control a ball . Between them , we've given the ball away in a dangerous position far too often this season , often losing goals we shouldn't have .
