@cushynumber what's the fucking score - innocents like @born a blue nose get warning points or whatever they're called and vermin like @del1916 are allowed to come on here and spout their pish.

Have a look at his posting history:

Am not a fan of the board either way but I see no one stepping forward to take us forward.

That doesn't excuse the last 4 or so year for performances on the pitch. Each and every manager has failed us when they've had more than enough budget to get a consistent and failed

OP Nail on head.  It's the fact that finishing a distant second at best is deemed good enough?  And ffs...  that is even improbable.

We need to regain our identity.  It's gone right now.  Gone.  We will never accept anything but the best.. not just as supporters.. but the Club especially.  We have been the best, most proud supporters of any club since 1872.

'Regime change'  (although I don't like the phrase) is right.  But.. let 's face the brutal facts.

q/ Who in their right mind would invest in Scottish football?
a/ No one.  But -- someone who has cash to burn and sees CL glory as the end game.  hmmm.... been there before.  And no one in their right mind would do it.. even the staunchest Rangers man.  Where were they a few years ago?  Nowhere.

q/ But the scum are miles ahead.
a/ No they are not. We are one manager behind

q/ What is the future?
a/ imho --> Best we can hope for.... Someone does come up with (some) money.  We get back to winning the league and fighting it out for CL Group stage... probably ending up in the Europa and hopefully doing well... That is the best we can now hope for.  Not all bad... But ffs... not what we're about.

Depressing.... But..  stay proud.  There is nothing else to do.... and always know that watp. (tu)

No Arab, Russian or Chinese, are going to buy us, so need some UK money, who else can you think of?

Mike Ashley would destroy Rangers.

He came close once, only stupidity would consider giving him a second opportunity.

The man is our enemy.

We may have a net spend of 6 mil, but that equals dross spread accross 11 players on top of the dross we already had. If anyone thinks 6 mil is going to get us near the scum on that model, they are deluded.

On a t/o of 29m we are certainly doing it all fucking wrong.

Someone stepping forward is not how it it works. It's not hard to work out from the recent accounts, far less those previously, we are in shit street, so no need for anyone to come forward, as they just need to wait until crisis point achieved and then step forward and take us on the cheap.

King in all probability is in deep shit and God knows how that will affect us, as I don't see him ponying up an offer for shares and there will be consequences , resulting with him offloading shares and calling in his loans. I am confident he already has his exit strategy well in place and it will matter not a fuck to him any collerall damage.

Start realing that we are indeed in a bad place and it will NOT be down to a manager to get us out of it.

If that dreadful performance today doesn't spurn the support to hound this board, nothing will, so get the Prozac ready for a very disapointing future.

People are making it seem like we can just go out and sign a new board as we would a player, who are going to invest cash into us.

King and Co’s lack of real investment has been frustrating but the fact remains there is no one else, there isn’t a secret billionaire who is going to pump millions into Rangers that’s the cold hard reality.

@bilkobear

I'm not looking to argue here, but why would he destroy Rangers?

Ashley knows how much he could have made from us had he been allowed to increase his stake or continue his involvement until King (on the back of the concentrated effort from CG and CH after the much fabled 7p in the pound shite) decided on who could piss the highest.

We then find out that it cost us 3 million to 'rip up the retail deal' - only to find we entered another 1 year deal with him that allows him to sell our merchandise through SD and take a percentage.

Yet the blowhards declared this as some sort of victory over Ashley, where as he was laughing like fuck at us. I wouldn't be surprised if this one year retail deal is extended tbh.

Just to add, yes he obviously made 'x' amount of £££'s after being sold our retail and advertising spaces for a pound - but he never sold himself that, that was down to Green. Ashley is a businessman and not one person in the same game as him would have passed up that chance. Yes, he's a parasitical cunt, but let's not cloud shit here as to what was what.

The Kingalings and board apologists are very quiet tonight :sarcasm:

TBH, they are what they are and are now irrelevant.

This board have proved their worth and that equals the square root of the centre of a doughnut.

It is now really up to the rest to hunt this board.

A new manager is not the answer to the systemic problems we have at the club. It would just be prolonging the agony The cancer that is this board, has spread right throughout this club. What is clear they are in it for themselves and we just bend over and take it up the erse.

If that performance is not the tipping point for us to demand change and hunt this board, then we deserve all that is coming our way.

That old chesnut!

You obviously haven't a clue how business works, far less acquisitions, particularly when a company has a criminal at the helm, who is wholly unaccountable and appeased by his customers.

Where do you get this cold hard reality from? - there is always a buyer out there and they only have to think that they could do better than the current incumbents and I can only imagine that wouldn't be hard. Our current board have insisted on making us very insular whereas if the effort was made to make us a marketable commodity a buyer or buyers would emerge.

Well we’re are they?

There has been plenty of opportunity for people to buy us over the last few years and they haven’t done so. If they had any intention of buying Rangers, then they would buy us and turn us into a Marketable commodity.

Scottish football just isn’t seen as a wise area to invest your money into there is no profitability to be had and with qualification into Europe becoming even harder the situation will only become worse.

I’m not saying Kings board can’t do far better or that they are the best people for the job but where are these potential buyers you speak of?
