Think this is a new style of transfer we will all need to get our heads around. Even if there is an initial loan period that doesn’t mean a player is away for 6 months for free. The overall finances of the deal will take into consideration that initial loan period, as you say it’s just being structured to avoid any FFP problems.

Let’s say it was an injury that pretty much ruled him out for the season. Is there usually something in loan deals which means the deal can be brought to an end early? Fingers crossed it’s nothing like that severe obviously.

He has this frustrating habit of just lingering onto the ball for that moment too long. Trying one more chop or turn instead of making his pass when it’s on. He’s shown, mainly in his first few months at the club under Beale, he has the ability to be a key player for us so I’ve personally not given up on him yet.

If that offside “decision” isn’t released 30 mins after the no penalty call was made all we’d really have on our hands is a terrible VAR decision and each team in the league would have some examples of that they could point to (Hearts non penalty a few days ago for one). Ironically by releasing the offside still well after the fact to try and cover things up he/they have just shown themselves to be lying and made things 10x worse for them.

When he went through I felt so confident he was gna score. Seems to really favour that low shot across the keeper and from what we’ve seen he’s fairly accurate with it.
