  2. Away yae go ya boggin wee bastard f**k you. we enjoyed singing it. if you disagree fair enough but dont insult me You enjoyed it? What a strange wee guy you are. Do you know we used to call use H***? As it was your beloved Oirland who hid the nazi gold etc yes we did. As someone who watched the game with 3/4 celtic fans in my living room at the time it was good banter. no doubt that makes me filth for associating with celtic fans but i dont care

  4. dont know if this has ever been suggested or thought of before but my mates and myself ended up singing this after Miller scored last night. to the tune of young at heart H** at heart i'm a H** at heart. worked for us
  5. personaly i think the better specticle is the OF games, not rangers v dundee/QOS/Partick etc
  6. to get a good TV deal we need to have the big teams (the OF and edinburgh derby etc) play each other as often as possible (4 times). having a league of 16 would further dilute the small TV revenue so i see the 14 team league as the only way forward at the moment

i love big tony. long may he continue in his post
  8. the stats speak for themselves, we have the best defence in the league. i agree that sometimes whittaker is vunerable on the right but he has other qualities in attack that make up for it. looking at full backs nowadays its hard to find someone who is solid in defence and who is a threat in attack. full backs who posses both are in short supply and tend to play for the top clubs in europe.
  9. to be honest i dont care if we play good football or not. its all about winning at this point in the season. obviously i would prefer if we played like arsenal but we dont.
  10. i was one of the spoiled generation, born in 84 so i was brought up at the time when it was almost a formality that rangers won the league. i remember never being worried if we would win, but would almost be disapointed that no-one could give us a game. my friends dad actualy gave up his season ticket when it was 7 in a row because no one could compete with us and he was bored with seing us pump everyone. it sounds strange but i remember at that time almost wishing that the league was more of a challenge and that someone could push ussp we could be better in europe.
  11. Can I ask why you think that? McCulloch has been nothing but outstanding for us this season. totaly agree, Lee has been pivital to our success this season.
  12. i would prefer a continental style of announcer where they get excited over substitutions and the starting line up. it just always seems so flat when he speaks, it just doesnt inspire like it should
  13. when you look back with hindsight he was a succesful manager no doubt about it. but at the time i was never convinced he was rangers class, but now after seeing what he has done with Birmingham i recognise that he is one of the best british managers currently in the game. we would be doing well to get someone of his class to take over after sir walter retires
  14. doesanyone else think the announcements, introduction of the team and general energy of the tannoy anouncer at ibrox is rubbish? i have been to games in the EPL and some on the continent and when tannoy guy comes on normally he lifts the crowd, inspires a chant etc but not at ibrox. anyone else think its time we livened up the place and got someome with a bit of charisma to motivate the fans?
  15. i used to despise big Lee as did everyone else on this forum and i have to say i have been impressed with him and totaly changed my opinion of the guy. this season i think he has been tremendous. he never hides in a game, makes crucial tackles and scores important goals. he leads the team. recently he has been one of our best players, ok there are others who are technicaly better but Lee always gives his all. i would be happy fpr him to be captain, thomson just doesnt cutt it for me. one game hes outstanding the nest you wouldnt even know he is playing. right now i would rather have Lee than Thomson in team amd try Edu in cebtre mid with him
  16. I'm sick of watching rangers kick off, its always the same. We pass it back, it goes out wide, back again to the centre half then to the keeper then hoofed up the park. Surrely the players have more ability than this, not even a decent boys club team would do this. But to top it off this move seems to be the one with the most consequtive completed passes in the game. Its just not good enough. What are these guys doing in training. Similarly our play is utterly predictable, I cant remember the last time we created a goal that didnt come from a goal mouth stromach or a defensive/goalkeeping mistake. Predictable and very poor.
  17. Well i wasnt putting then in the exact formation they might play in. Mearly highlighting the quality players that we have let go that are mostly better than the players in our starting 11

  19. Sorry if its a repost, i hadnt seen it before. But even if it is, its still funny
  20. Just got emailed this pic, thought I would share it for a laugh. Look closely at the card the guy beside him is holding up
  21. New season, new start. Last year he was woeful at times, but hes had a very good pre season and if it continues will prove to be a very versatile/useful player to have in our match day squad.
  22. Was Alan Hutton not originally a striker? if hes half as god as he was i'd be happy
  23. just on the BBC website http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/g...ers/8184731.stm 0928 BST: Bolton manager Gary Megson says he is prepared to listen to offers for defender Danny Shittu. (Bolton Evening News) I hope its not him
