  5. Ok mate, its a huge list so gimme a sec
  6. Yes. Scored that cracker v USA at world cup
  7. If you look at all these players you could make about 5 top notch teams. A club like us with our financial situation should take a good hard look at this list and realise there is somegreat players with low(ish) wages (£15k a wk or lower). By Lowish i mean compared to spending £20k a wk for an unproved over-rated championship player where you can spend £15k a wk on an experienced player who has played in europe and plays in a competetive league i.e Holland, Belgium etc. Bosman List Summer 2011
  8. We are Rangers FC, the worlds most successfull team. We have one of the largest followings out of any team in the world. We used to be able to compete in europe and in the transfer market but now we cant even offer a top Championship goalscoring midfielder £18-£20k a week. This shows how times have changed for this club, it doesnt help when you have someone like martin bain represent the club. We struggle to sign any players because of money but yet we are offering more money thats required for a players services. Seriously? We need to wake up big time and so does the bank. The tims are will to offer £20k a week to let a player warm the bench, we need to compete with teams by being able to offer players £20k a week. We will get money from a charlie adam transfer and we will most likely free up wages at the end of the season. The banks need to let the club breathe and be able to have more of a say on finances because if we dont we will not compete for anything and we will sink. BIGTIME! The bank has to understand: No money for players=no improved contracts for current team members=tiny squad=no chance of winning league=no champions league=losing a lot of money=debt building up=rangers fc no more Times are very bad and we cannot afford to fail in winning the league. The bank needs to understand that there controlling of the club is making us worse instead of better. We need serious financial help. NOW!!

  16. On ssn now! Stv report: Dundee United footballer David Goodwillie has been charged with rape. The incident is alleged to have happened in the early hours of January 2 this year when a 24-year-old woman said she was sexually attacked in Armadale, West Lothian. The 21-year-old footballer has been released on bail and is due to appear in court at a later date. A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Police said: “A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault on a 24-year-old woman in Armadale on the 2nd of January. “The individual concerned has been released to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court at a later date. “Inquiries into the incident are ongoing, and no further comment can be made at this time.” Dundee United refused to comment.
  17. You made a thread on this with the exact same wording in FF, why do another one?
  18. KENNY MILLER is preparing to open signing talks with Bursaspor - after an emotional farewell to Rangers fans today. Gers' Champions League rivals last night confirmed their interest in the Scotland striker. And SunSport can reveal Miller is now poised to start negotiations with the Turkish champs tomorrow - less than 24 hours after his potential Ibrox goodbye. Bursaspor are ready to blow the rest of the bidders out the water with a staggering £50,000-a-week deal over two-and-a-half years. Miller has been included in the squad to face Hamilton today. But it's shaping up to be the 31-year-old's last Rangers appearance as Bursaspor prepare to table a megabucks offer amounting to £7.5million. Boss Ertugrul Saglam said last night: "We know all about the quality of a player like Kenny Miller. It's that type of player we are looking to sign. "We need someone like him who not only scores goals, but contributes to the team as well. "We want to get the transfer sorted out as quickly as possible." Birmingham City and Fiorentina look to have given up hope of landing Miller, who is out of contract at the end of the season. It looked as though he would be heading to Italy but the Serie A side have now made Bolton's Johan Elmander their No1 target on a summer Bosman. SunSport understands Miller was not keen on a move to the Midlands. And Brum boss Alex McLeish last night had a £6million bid accepted for Spurs' Robbie Keane. Gers boss Walter Smith admitted: "We'd like an end to the matter, we want to know one way or another what will happen. "But having said that, we have another two weeks in the transfer window - so you can never say it is going to come to an end unless the player or the clubs says it is coming to an end." Smith cannot move to strengthen his squad until he sells. The gaffer - who could start Miller against Accies - insisted: "I've not said Kenny would never play for Rangers again. "What I have said is that it is an awkward situation for everybody to handle. I left him out against Kilmarnock because, with all the stuff that was going on, it would've been a circus." The Sun
  19. Two Dundee United footballers have been questioned by police in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault. BBC Scotland understands the players are David Goodwillie and David Robertson. It is understood the men were questioned by officers last week, in connection with an incident at a New Year house party in West Lothian. Neither man has been charged but both are continuing to help police with their inquiries. Lothian and Borders Police confirmed that they were investigating a complaint brought by a 24-year-old woman following an allegation of serious sexual assault in Armadale on 2 January. BBC SCOTLAND ace David Goodwillie has been quizzed by cops over claims he RAPED a woman at a house party. The striker and Dundee Utd teammate David Robertson were accused of attacking the 24-year-old after a night out in Armadale, West Lothian. The pair were interviewed by detectives over the alleged "serious sexual assault" on January 2. Both deny any wrongdoing - and neither has been charged with any offence. But last night a source said: "The woman claims the players raped her at the house. They met up on a night out and went back to the house after. "Cops have been speaking to everyone else who was with her during the evening." The source added: "The pair were at a house party where the incident is said to have happened. "The girl went to the police who hauled in the players for questioning last week. "They were later released without charge. Cops are still investigating. "They deny any wrongdoing and maintain their innocence." The alleged incident happened just hours after both players featured in United's 1-1 draw at Aberdeen, in which Goodwillie scored an injury-time equaliser. The 21-year-old - who made his international debut last year against the Faroe Islands - is one of Scotland's hottest young strikers and has been linked with moves to Rangers and Celtic. And earlier this week United boss Peter Houston said he was free to leave at the right price. But Goodwillie, who is from Stirling, has been in hot water off the pitch. In 2008 he was fined £250 for punching a man at a nightspot in the town. The next year he was in court again for knocking out bouncer Craig Reid at a club in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire. He escaped with a £200 fine. Last year Goodwillie allegedly romped with a female fan in toilets at a trendy Dundee bar. Advertisement And in November he spent a night in the cells after he was accused of brawling in a Glasgow street - but later walked free from court. Robertson, 23, who hails from Livingston, has made 83 appearances for United since 2006. A Lothian and Borders police spokesman said: "We're investigating an alleged serious sexual assault against a 24-year-old female in Armadale on January 2. !nquiries are ongoing." A United spokesman said: "We have been informed of an alleged incident. As police are investigating we can't comment further." The Sun
