I was at the game. Rangers had a very young team out and they were playing against a much older squad. Larne may be only in the Irish Championship but they are all full time professional players with a lot of experience. It was a good game as both teams kept the ball on the ground and played entertaining football.
My mates daughter attends Queens. One of her friends recently bought her an Antrim GAA shirt as a present. She made the mistake of wearing it in the house one day. The shirt no longer survives!
I was up in that area yesterday. That standard dress code is bloody GAA shirts and also a few green and grey tops as well. It is a festering shit-hole.
Someone with his kind of money could have been great for the club. Unfortunately he is only interested in money and doesn't care about football or peoples feelings.
By avoiding tax they could afford better producers, longer studio time, better backing musicians and songwriters, more advertising etc which would all have helped them get to number 1. Can't believe i'm commenting on this
