  1. That's not Jamie Ness mate.......it's a fake account.
  2. I'm assuming you're able to go back to the statements and read them yourself. That's what I did.
  3. Maybe they are backing the Blue Knights because PM has promised them he will honour their agreement with Whyte?
  4. Surprisingly, I will take the admins word before yours.
  5. I believe we set the ticket price, but maybe someone with more knowledge of the Clubs inner workings can say different. The admins have to accept the best bid for the creditors. This does not mean they have to accept the highest bid, only the bid which will be most able to settle said debts going forward. The CVA, if we get it, will be a significant financial millstone for any new owner so they will need to prove to the admins that the funds, or a proper financial plan to gain those funds, is/are in place. This is not my opinion as I'm pretty much confused by it all, but the opinion of a trusted acquaintance who works for a company involved in administration work.
  6. At this moment in time we owe them precisely nothing. They are not creditors and are not seeking creditor status. If, and I know it's a big if, Whyte has indeed secured the deal against his own funds or that of companies he owns outwith Rangers, then it is Whyte alone who will have to cough up, if and when a new owner takes over and tells Ticketus they are not getting the tickets. And yes, it will probably involve us in some very lengthy and expensive court cases, but if we are indeed in the right on this, our bills should be met at the end of the process by the loser.
  7. Good luck with your fundraising efforts guys....anything that raises money for the Club is good news. Personally I'll be giving to whichever scheme gives the highest % of money donated to the Club.........and at the moment that looks to be the Rangers Fans Fighting Fund.
  8. In the last month it's dropped by 0.76%, but in the last 5 days it's risen by 4.36%. Looks like someone is impressed by them, although that might not be due to their involvement with our case.
  9. From the info we've received so far, all money donated goes into a secured account controlled by Ally, Walter, Sandy Jardine, Jim Hannah and Rangers Supporters Assembly President Andy Kerr. They will then pass on the money to the admins as needed on a weekly basis. Lots more info in the RFFF thread pinned at the top of the page mate
  10. Hmmmm.......anyone is better than Whyte? Did we not get Whyte because "anyone will be better than Murray?" I know that's how I felt at the time, but this time I'd rather see someone with proven funds and proven business credentials. I voted "Not at all".
  11. The cost cutting covers the bare essentials I'm sure, but no more than that.
  12. That's the difference between "Investors" and "Supporters"........we will give because of our love of the Club, not so we make money from it or a blazer and tie
  13. All supporters Club secretaries have been invited to Ibrox today at 12.30 for a question and answer session on this very subject. KPLFishtank, Swallie and others are going and will report back with all the ins and outs so that we all get the answers we want.
  14. Neither......I'd rather give the whole tenner to the official fighting fund.
  15. Here's the full statement, apologies if it's been posted in other threads. Duff and Phelps today issued the following statement on behalf of Rangers Football Club. Partner Paul Clark, said: "We are pleased to announce today a package of cost-cutting measures has been agreed with the Rangers playing staff that enables the Club to move forward. "The agreement on very substantial wage reductions and voluntary departures from the Club represents a major sacrifice by the Rangers players. "The discussions have been lengthy and by no means easy for anyone involved but the most important objective in all of this process has been to achieve an outcome that will help save the Club. There are a small number of matters still to be dealt with over the weekend but we do not believe these will be insurmountable in the completion of an agreement. "The players deserve great credit and we are in no doubt that this agreement is the best way to achieve the necessary cost savings to ensure the continuing operations of the Club while preserving the fabric of the playing squad. "The agreement has also directly prevented substantial job losses among non-playing staff both at Ibrox and Murray Park. "This has been a difficult week for everyone at the Club and we are pleased that we can now move forward and focus on the next steps in the recovery process." The cost cutting programme includes:- •First team playing squad members agreeing substantial temporary wage cuts ranging from 25% to 75% of their salaries. •The senior football management team accepting temporary wage cuts. •The wage cuts will prevent widespread job losses at the Club. •Non-playing job losses are being kept to a minimum. •Two members of the playing squad, Gregg Wylde and Mervan Celik, have been allowed to leave the Club at their request. Mr Clark said: "Everyone involved in the process, the Duff and Phelps team, the manager, the PFA Scotland and, most importantly, the players themselves made every effort possible to reach a consensual position where job losses among the playing staff were either prevented or kept to the minimum. "This required a commitment to very substantial temporary wage cuts and we're very pleased to say that after all our discussions this has been achieved. "The considerable sacrifice the players at Rangers have made has saved the jobs of other people at the Club and we fully recognise the football staff are paying a very heavy price for the greater good. "It is to their eternal credit the players and the management have sought to find a solution that helps protect the fabric of the Club. "We are especially grateful to the manager, Ally McCoist, who has put the interests of the Club, his players and the staff first and foremost at all times.Senior first team players have also been very helpful in trying to secure a successful outcome. "We should be absolutely clear that this Club is in a perilous financial situation and there are no easy options. If substantial cost reduction could not be achieved then the Club would not survive until the end of the season. "Administration is never a painless process and is imperative if the Club is to survive that the business trades viably through the period of administration. "As regards non-playing staff, job losses will be kept to a minimum. The recently opened London office will close and another recently appointed employee will leave the business. "We still hold to our view that the future of Rangers can be secured and the measures announced today will be an important part of the recovery process."
  16. Interesting is not the word I'd use......whoever it is they're laying it on thick.........tweeting at Spiers about PES 2012: @GrahamSpiers Are you coming Graham? I heard you've prestiged twice already and have been plagiarising other work due to your MW3 addiction? Scrap that......it's all from last year!
  17. I think that's a bit harsh. Just because some don't want Paul Murray or Dingwall anywhere near our boardroom doesn't mean they want the club to go under.........quite the opposite I suggest. I think all Bears want Rangers to come out of this with a strong, dependable and honest leadership who have Rangers best interests at the forefront of their plans. Many don't see either PM, Dingwall or Ticketus as fitting the bill.
  18. I think it's a shite idea....and how the fuck do gate receipts pay Duff & Phelps?
  19. Dingwall trying to add to the £92k currently "resting in RST accounts" is it?
  20. As I said, at one time I thought Murray was doing his best for the club, swept along on the crest of a wave through the Gazza, Laudrup, 9IAR years. I learned he wasn't, along with probably the majority of the support. When Whyte appeared on the scene I had reservations based on his past record but, at the time, was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as he looked like our only hope of getting out of the debt mire. I'm not proud of being taken in twice by these shysters, but I was hardly alone was I?
  21. It appears this thread has descended into "It was Murrays' fault", "No it was Whytes' fault". In my view they have both fucked the club and the support right up the shitpipe, and I say this as someone who for years thought Murray was doing his best for the Club, and who also tentatively welcomed Whyte in when it became clear that Murray had been cooking the books. Back to the VB Statement. Possibly the most amateur statement released lately, and there have been many. Did they feel left out because everyone and their granny had released statements and they hadn't? Utter drivel on the whole, shocking in it's naivety and unwillingness to admit they, like a lot of us in the support, were taken in by "Mr Whyte". Yes, Vanguard Bears have done good things in the past.....but they now appear to be quickly disappearing up their own collective arsehole. This statement has only served to make them more of an irrelevance than they had already become.
  22. Looks like Clarks' comments about the ones spouting in the media not being the front-runners might have panicked PM into trying to deal with the devil perhaps?
  23. All the players took wage cuts.
  24. Fuckin agents trying to move their players on already......some of our players really do associate with low-lifes!
