As for tearing up their contracts, that has never been an option as they are covered by the same employment laws as every other worker. They are all legally entitled to pay-offs, and if even half the players chose to enforce this we would be in liquidation tomorrow. Yes, some are on massive wages. But as in every walk of life, the bigger the wage the higher the expenditure. It's doubtful if more than 1 or 2 players in our first-team squad can really afford the wage cuts mentioned for more than a couple of months.

It's little wonder if he's bitter though, he was constantly asked to play out of position and given so much abuse when doing so that his family and friends had to stop going to Ibrox. Since moving to England he's shown what he could have been for Rangers if he'd been played in the centre of midfield, which is a sight better than any other midfielder we've had in the last few years.

I don't care what the septic want or threaten and neither should any other Bear. Our history is Scottish, we are Scottish and we will always be Scottish. Running away to the English leagues smacks of cowardice at this time and should not be in our thoughts in my opinion. We will come through this as we have come through every other trial we have faced, and we shall be all the stronger for it. If we ever move to the English leagues it must be from a position of strength, not weakness. We are Rangers and we don't do running away.

Poor refereeing aside, we were dismal today. Only 4 of the starting 11 can hold their heads up IMO......McGregor, Bocanegra, Edu and McCulloch. Perry did ok from the bench as did Mervan, while Kerkar showed the kind of effort and hunger that was needed from the whole squad today but was sadly lacking in most of them. Davis had yet another poor game, Broadfoot tried hard but looks lost when not going forward, and Aluko seemed to find his aberdeen form at just the wrong time. Those I haven't mentioned were utterly atrocious on the whole. How fucking depressing.
