No leader off the pitch, no leader on it. We are rudderless, we have IMO the poorest captain in our history. Uninspiring and lacking in motivation. Saying that if pointing was a sport he'd be the Olympic champion. This club is needing purged.

They need McCoist, McCoist along with Dickson and Mccculloch feed them, now one link has been removed the other two will become pivotal. Keith Jackson will be shitting himself at the thought of his 3 sources being reduced to 1

The man is a dud of a manager, only £1.6 million is keeping him in a job
-
Agree He will only be sacked when the filth rip us to shreds
-
You take things for granted, that's why I still buy the season tickets and will go to Derby but once the pre match build up is over and we've sang our hearts out for the team, the realisation that the manager can't manage and 45 mins and the pub looks fantastic
-
Any coincidence that McCoist is spouting this when it seems the fans are less than impressed with his run of pre season performances ?
-
Any Glasgow bear voting for a lickspittle like Mason needs their balls toed

Try coaching some young lads Alastair rather than laughing like fuck at what your experienced "lads" are doing. If anyone on this thread can point me in the way of McCoists coaching abilities I'd be most grateful!

Will winning the league be enough for you this year?
HMS replied to OlegKuznetsov's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
No, I expect a general uplift in performance and style, the thing is next season we start re-building again, McCoist will never learn. Mcculloch, Black, Miller, Boyd, Zaliuskas, Daly, and McGregor will all be either in their 30's or touching it, that's his big guns to take on the filth, frightening isn't it! -
Would this current Rangers team beat 2005/06 & 2006/07?

Could there be a Star Trek type universe collapsing thingy when the two Stevie Smith's injure each other in a fairly tame shoulder charge? -
I saw him peer out the balcony for 30seconds point, laugh and went back in. Your bang on here, if in McCoists opinion there is no youth good enough, then why stick with the same losing formula?

Evening Times seems to think this will be the starting 11...

Ain't no hater, I know a tad about the game, he's done, he has been done for nearly a season and a half. He shouldn't be captain, he shouldn't be playing. -
Ally McCoist: For the first time I feel like a Manager

Almost word for word what I said although I added a fucking! -

It goes back to the question I've just asked, why? He isn't good enough to start so why does being captain, a jolly good dressing room character and experienced gain him a pass to play? He was rank last season, with the penalties creating a false perception, he isn't even 4th best centre or 4th best centre mid or even 4th best centre forward but will be squeezed in anyway. -

Quick question, why? -
All you ever see is folk moaning on here!

To be honest, it's pretty grim at present, I've never been so nonplussed at the start of a season. A manager who admitted he needs to be dragged from the dugout ( assuming he's not in mid staring stance ) a board who lurch from one shambles to another, filth allowed to walk all over us without so much as a peep and a divided support that will only end in civil war. -

As for the report, "Mcculloch, despite his advancing years is a fine player!" Really! Mcculloch even in his younger years was never a fine player, he was adequate and steady, not reliable due to his obvious illness in giving away free kicks and picking up bookings. He was a Smith favourite due to be versatile and it's continued. Fine players are the Fergusons, Durrants, etc Mcculloch is not in that bracket! -

Mcculloch will be in regardless, Moshni will be sold, Black will be in, Smith will more than likely play left Mid with McLeod moving in one and Miller up front himself. When a manager like we have is so utterly petrified of losing he'll revert to type. Expect some of the worst football seen at Ibrox seen since McCoist's last few seasons -
The joy of just standing arms aloft growling at the filth is most enjoyable Edit spelling

Nope not a chance in hell, OP your having a laugh! PLG's team whilst not built for the Scottish game looked to be the most composed and suitable to Europe I've seen in generations, McCoist has built one of the most turgid, utterly depressing styles I've seen in 35 years of watching us. No contest whatsoever for me! -
A parasite of a man, as for mr McCoist, no matter how much he try's to justify his management style and policies, he wasted two years of rebuilding.
-
Shocking if true! McCoist really hasn't got a clue what the fans want. Aye go for it Ally, sign another auld yin!
-
Won't be long till I'm back in my seat giving McCoist dogs abuse for another baffling selection
