Distaste for Dundee United all stems from that night when they asked for £12 from all of us to cover police costs for a game that had originally been abandoned. If they'd asked for a fiver they might have gotten away with it. Can honestly say that I didn't have any positive or negative feelings regards Dundee United up to that point. I even remember wanting them to beat Gothenburg in the UEFA Cup Final and did feel awful for them after the Roma game in 83/84. Their greed and their unnecessary hatred for Rangers after the Murray/Whyte fiasco changed all of that. May their days out in Greenock and Dumfries be wet, windy and end in defeat.

Maybe so, but many seemed to object purely on the grounds of the colours chosen. The proceeds will have something to do with Rangers shortly provided things go well over the next few weeks. Although I buy the official kits I have a great deal of sympathy with those who refused to hand money to Mike Ashley..

The sums seem to add up regards the costing for these tops. As for the colours, I have black/orange/purple Rangers tops in my collection and I don't remember an outcry from any fans when these came out. Many continue to wish for another orange one to this day, myself included!

Sounds like mischief-making to me. Nike shirt plus stitching for a tenner? I know someone who runs an amateur team and he'd bite your hand off for that!

The first Rangers top I had bought for me was in 1979. I've had every strip since then and I thought it was worth adding to the collection. Having said that I haven't worn one in a long time because I'm fast closing in on 50 and I feel a bit silly in sportswear! I paid £32 for this one and £10 goes into the share fund.

Three weeks ago I bought one when I joined the Trust. The cause was (and is) a good one and the shirt is of very decent quality. I miss the days when we had Adidas/Nike as kit manufacturers.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm certain that Dingwall isn't on the Trust board these days.

Beat them, and then scrape up on penalties in play-off. I am firmly of the belief that we lack the consistency required to claw back the gap. Losing to a demonstrably awful (let's not beat about the bush here - we are dreadful) Rangers team would render their season a complete and utter failure.

Rst Concerns Over Old Firm Fixture
Vidmaradona replied to eskbankloyal's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Their words and actions appear to have taken a turn for the better since Mark Dingwall left the board. When I read their more recent statements I feel as if it has become more in tune with the thoughts and feelings of the rank and file. This is something I welcome. -
Why would we be sick of it? Not only is it amusing, it reveals their deranged and diseased mindset to the entire nation, including those who normally dismiss arguments about football out of hand, saying that one side is as bad as the other. I would suggest re-opening a ropeworks and feeding them enough to hang themselves - free of charge!

A wonderful statement. Really hits the spot. They've performed admirably in recent months. -
A great roar and a wonderful chant but asking for trouble in the current political climate unfortunately. Our enemies have set the rules and we're having to play by them.

Have we ever had a more loathsome player than Ian Black?

Makes Cammy Fraser look like Souness. -
Not for one minute would I believe that McCoist would hang around Ibrox ripping off the Rangers support. Given his history at the club I see no reason for him to completely destroy his reputation in a way that some would suggest. There really has to be something that runs much deeper. If things were normal and the manager realised that things were going from bad to worse I'd expect he would do the same thing as John Greig and step aside without any fuss but bugger all is normal at Ibrox just now.

BBC Complaints Dept Replies to a tim

Why are they so fucking obsessed with the Rangers? I couldn't tell you who they played last, who they play next or name enough of their players for a starting eleven. They seem to spend every second of every day obsessing over every minor detail, past and present..... AND THEY STILL GET IT WRONG! -
Was thinking more chips and cheese myself.

Mr Ashley should stick his hand in his pocket but given how he treats his staff at Sports Direct I doubt that will happen. Ally could also do it. I suspect he'd be more likely to do so. -

The one above the door isn't there at the moment. The piece of wood that it is attached to is also down. Can only assume that some work needs to be carried out. -

Poor performance and an embarrassing result. The goodwill towards McCoist can only go on for so long. -

Here he comes. I reckon he'll score a double.
