I can't argue much with what's been said. But I do think Macgregor will have a future. If he rots in the reserves and gets sold in the summer, a club will pick him up at a bargain price. In our cash-strapped times that would be unlikely. With the team picking up the points in the last week though, I really don't see Ferguson sneaking back in.

The team is nowhere near as good as it has been in the past, we are all very much aware of that. It is a sad fact. But I for one will be a happy bear tonight, 3 wins in a week and the scum dropping points. Let's keep it going.

Hurlock for me. As for Konterman, I have seen few footballers who look less comfortable on the ball than him.

Stevie Smith pre-injury would be great. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be able to get match fitness and return to his promising ability. You would, with Papac now injured, he would sense an opertunity and force his way back in. I would be surprised if we ever say him play again. He will end up moving away to a lower league and rue his injury.

I think, on his day, Hemdani is a very good footballer. His form did drop suddenly in the 2nd half of last season though. This season it has been clear that he is not in Walters plans. A players reaction to that can either be to work really hard in training, impress in reserve games and try and change the managers mind. Or a player can show little interest, accept that they won't play again and cheer themselves up with their bank balance. Hemdani, for whatever reason, chose the later. It is for this reason, and nothing to do with his ability as a footballer, than I won't be calling for his return.
