The more platforms the better Gaz but when you are arguing against the one which decides to include our history and culture then you come across as a bit of a hypocrite. If you want to defend the footballing side of our club and only that, power to you.
But most of us can see that the attack is not just about football.

I honestly don't know if anyone i know IRL is currently a member of the site. I don't get out much
I've always wanted to join VB because I love the work they do. Whilst I personally don't take much to do with the PUL side of things ( although i am from a very staunch family), The rest of the work you do interests me a great deal.
I don't advocate leaving our traditions and culture behind us. Pretty much my only problem with VB is the way some of it's members come on here just to fight with people that don't agree with them.
Anyway i'm pretty stoned and just rambling now. Keep up the good work

It's elitism if you are outside looking in perhaps, but no, that's not the case. What is important is something called trust. You have read some of what is done, and you have of course seen the articles. Watching a new member simply isn't on, as privacy and trust (again) is paramount. Rather than leaks right left and centre that could let things out of the bag before time
It's also not just a website, people know each other, and the relationships aren't reserved to online

It would be nice if you answered some of my questions, as I am doing my best to answer yours, although it does appear that you are ignoring much of it. Again you are asking questions that I and others have answered.
If you were at the Hamden march, as I understand it, 6 of the stewards on the steps with jars one were vb. so, good enough for the club, but not you? The bomber thing, that didnt go down too well in the main
Why does vb, in your opinion need to let just anyone join? When it comes to events, we work with the rfff, rtidni, the assembly and many others, that's a fairly inclusive setup isn't it?
And, again, for what purpose would you want to join? You are making it seem a negative that not everyone can, yet give no reason as to why you would?

Its ok, its nice to be in demand
The "not as good a fan" thing, is one of those irritating internet catchphrases, does my head. Its also generally used in a "are you saying I'm not" kind of way. I think a big difference on there is that we do know each other, real names etc, so, thats really different from your average forum. You can actually rely on people if you get in a bit of a jam, and, some of the things I have seen happen on there makes me proud. Not always big things, little personal things. Its a group of friends, sure, its growing over time, which is nice, but, its still the same feel.
Joining forces is simple, its happening all the time lately, as I mentioned, via the club, the RFFF, working group etc. The upside is, more and more of the support are actually coming together. I agree, lots of amazing fans everywhere. Different sites, different groups, different bloggers all cover different aspects, we do one of those very well, and its simply "fighting back". The worst part for me, is when it involves arguments with other bears, usually over absolutely nothing. I would much much rather spend my energy fighting back against those out there trying to damage the club, and often get confused (and angry) at this kind of thing as, it baffles me why you would want to fight with another Bear. If an article goes up, and people think it could be improved, and made better, shit, tell! Thats the key.

Just to set things straight; we are not better than anyone else, we are not above our stations, we are simply there to defend our way of life and do our bit. Negative feedback is not what bugs us, it's certain individuals on here who constantly rear their ugly heads whenever we're mentioned and stick in their usual sly comments.

You should read more replies, yes there is "a" forum, and yes it's blocked to the public. For reasons mentioned before, and others.
You are aware of private members clubs? Both online and offline? If you want to join, you have to satisfy membership criteria, can't be a hard concept to grasp, really?
You asked how, maybe you could, and that wasn't good enough for you. The simple process of sending an email asking perhaps, how you could join? You could have met members at games, or admin maybe?
You obviously don't want to, so perhaps you shouldn't denounce it too much? My personal opinion is that too many people these days think they have a right to anything they want.
Wvb joined, and given his past... Haha

No, not really because I think it's a good idea badly executed. If you think it's not political, you are mistaken. Most of the time, trs avoids major topics that their platform could give them, in order to cultivate their msm connections. It's a shame, I thought Chris Graham's early blogs showed so so much promise as well.
I far prefer reading D'artagnan and Bill McMurdo for articles that really address the more important topics

Follow follow is run as a business, by a man who's ultimate goal has always been a tie and blazer. In doing so, he sells "fanzines" although possibly not as much now due to not paying his printers, he fleeces fans, he sells products with rangers brands, which he has not been authorised to do, nor paid for the right to do so. This takes money from the fans, and also keeps it out of the clubs pockets, which is even worse in recent times.
He, and associates have also been responsible for the threatening emails etc sent to prospective buyers of the club, and others, which put the clubs very existence in peril.
If you view it as a website only, which I am presuming you are, then there is still the issue of costing the club money. Makes perfect sense that he is looked at.
I think it's nice a member chose to write that article. It contains a lot of things that would rightly be praised, and shows there is a wide range of members with influence in other groups, such as rtidni, and the other things that are done. Most of these things go unmentioned as, the viewpoint is actually getting them done, is far more important than telling the world about it. We don't do things for a look at me reaction, we so them because they should be done, and that's the part I am most proud of.
