  1. It's amazing what a new database can do. I've heard conflicting reports of the current membership numbers, does the new database give you the correct amount. If so can you tell me the numbers. Was thinking of rejoining again but one of the things putting me off was being kept in the dark about the things that were going on within the trust. The Trust website is and always has been no use as it's never updated and not being a member of FF I never knew what was going on. Have you looked at our new website?
  2. Probably just means that all 50 people plan to attend. That'll be it.
  3. Yes, September weekend when many will be on holiday and can't attend... Aye, September weekend when members, who should have been notified, weren't. Any wonder I'm not renewing? That is simply not true. Notice was posted to all current members on 9th or 10th September to ensure two weeks notice was given to everyone. It has also been up on our website since then. As for the timing, we have to have it before 5th October and the date was set to suit fixture lists and to ensure that the accounts were finalised by our auditors. Funnily enough, we have had no complaints from any member regarding the timing. PM me your membership number and details and I'll see if we have the correct ones for you. From reading here and elsewhere, perhaps thats because too many dont actually know about it Just a thought Where is elsewhere? Other forums, or, fora if you will, where many Bears not members have received many emails regarding different RST info, and, members are not receiving any. The general/majority dont appear to have heard about this. Just form cursary glances through multiple threads. I dont mind either way Sorry, you'll have to enlighten me. I'm a member of a number of 'fora' and I've seen nothing of these multiple threads.
  4. Yes, you're not having a good day, are you? I don't know the percentage of members that live in the West of Scotland is the simple answer. Perhaps if I can find the time I'll try to work it out. Regardless of when we have the AGM, it will not suit everyone. It isn't really getting later each year. In 2006 it was on 1st October. People unable to attend have the option of submitting a question or proposing a motion either by e-mail or to our PO Box. There have been none submitted by e-mail so far, I'm not sure about the PO Box yet.
  5. The Monday is a bank holiday across the UK to my knowledge. No, it isn't.

  7. Renewals only but you can join online before Sunday. will I get my arse kicked for trying to enter that ticket competition with a made up RST number? No but it does mean you could enter it with a legitimate number. the number I gave 16187290 though was a good one though, I mean you have to give me credit for the ingenuity shown there! Anyway, how to much join is it? £10 per year if you are in the UK. The first year you get a share in Rangers FC.

  9. Yes, September weekend when many will be on holiday and can't attend... Good point. Interesting to say the least............. Like the EGM last year the morning after the Walk? The AGM last year was the September Weekend too I think. Anyone less secure than myself could be under the impression the board wish to prevent an open forum with as many members in attendance as possible. Not unless 6th September formed part of the September weekend.

  11. The tickets aren't printed yet so just bring the form along on Sunday. C.
  12. It's a conference taking place on 14th November looking at different aspects of our Club, culture, heritage, future etc. Wanna ticket?
  13. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rs...1&Itemid=43 The 'Soldiers Past and Present' Scheme Monday, 21 September 2009 19:36 The Rangers Supporters Trust is extending its already-popular Ibrox hospitality links with Erskine Home and is delighted to announce details of a further new initiative which will see current members of our Armed Forces personnel also make regular visits to Ibrox stadium for Rangers home games. The Rangers Supporters Trust has four season tickets as part of the highly-successful Rangers Lotto Agency and the Trust has now extended its scheme to honour the brave men and women who offer to give their all for their country. The scheme will see members of the various forces in Scotland not only attend the match but also be special guests of the RST and the Wee Rangers Club for some pre-match entertainment and refreshments. The Trust takes great pleasure in continuing its ever-growing support for “our boys”. It also enables us to keep up our support for the residents of Erskine Home, and last month saw the RST welcome several residents as our first guests within the new scheme. As a Trust we have fully supported the 'Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal' and we look forward to continuing in this field. We also warmly applauded the moves by Rangers FC to welcome the Army and then the Royal Marines “back home” to the fields of Ibrox Park last season - and it's obvious that the entire Rangers support feels the same. Colin McPhail of Erskine was delighted at the new scheme and commented on behalf of the Home “every week we gather the residents down to the foyer to watch the football - the vast majority in here being blue noses! Its fantastic to see the joy they get watching the games but when we actually get to take them to Ibrox it is something magical. From the welcome at the Wee Rangers Club to the walk down to the stadium it still sends shivers down the spine as you enter the famous Ibrox Stadium. The veterans really appreciate getting to follow follow on again and we thank The Rangers Supporters Trust for their continued support and backing”. We look forward to welcoming our guests in the near future.
  14. You mean this number? 16187290. That would be the one! A pity really because, spookily enough, you got the answer right.
  15. We thought about that but we wanted it to be believable.
  16. I believe he is the top scorer against Celtic in Europe.
  17. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rstsite/ I hope the question isn't too difficult.
  18. I don't have a problem with criticism on message boards etc, that is about opinions, but when someone pulls on that blue jersey then we should give them our full support for 90 minutes.
  19. Another high profile visitor but who's that beside Iain McColl?
  20. I am probably Coop's biggest fan. He was a personal friend and I still visit his mum and brother and sister-in-law. He already has the Cooper Suite named after him and I'm not sure about the stand thing. There have been many great players throughout the years and I do believe the 3 stands should be re-named but perhaps the McNeil, McBeath and Campbell stands would be more appropriate.
