  1. You are absolutely correct. The Club are in a panic because it re-appeared at the Emirites and Portsmouth. Everyone has their own thoughts about the song but anyone singing it despite the warnings is being very foolish.
  2. Are you completely ignorant or have you just 'misread' david saying he sung it? No need for the abuse . I thought David's post was a joke but everyone else who was at the game said they didn't hear it.
  3. It seems that the people at the game didn't hear it but it was heard on the telly. Mmm.......
  4. I agree, I think they'll rue the day they decided to have a forum. It's already been hijacked. As for the UEFA directive, very interesting. I'd love to know why this is the first time we have had the opportunity to read this. We were led to believe that only TBB was involved. I was going to post that on the thread that was opened about this yesterday but looks like it's been chopped for some reason.
  5. Amazing what can be done. http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/He...1789782,00.html
  6. Get a job and pay for them youself.
  7. Frankie has provided the link above I notice but I thought I'd pop this in here while I was reading I'm a bit annoyed that it doesn't mention it was paid for by the fans. It looks from that piece that it was GCC. Heaven forbid.
  8. I wish this guy would take this video off youtube tbh. It's obvious why. whys that? Have you listened to it? It's amazing that people don't see anything wrong with FTP.
  9. No chance, epic song, will never get bored of it Would it not be better for us to play a song that the whole scrowd could sing along to in its entirety? We have the sitation whereby a song is played and its 15 second chorus is the only part that people sing to. It dies a death. Other choices would help improve the atmosphere. If its that good a Rangers song why doesn't it get played at Rangers nights and on the buses going to games? Follow, Follow would be perfect, if only people would learn the correct words.
  10. Shame it wasn't better publicised ... nice picture though Today's ceremony was invitation only due to very limited space in the foyer of the centre. However, anyone can now go along now and view it.
  11. I saw you all walking past it. I'd have stayed and watched your game but it was cold and wet. It was only when we came back after the game (which we won 4-2 against the current league champions) that I noticed the plaque. Looks really good though as I say but I had no idea it was getting unveiled that day I just assumed it was one of things I hadnt noticed there before but it was nice to see anyway! The bit at the bottom saying it was unveiled on 6th September 2009 was a bit of a giveaway.
  12. Apologies for the size but it gives a clearer picture of the plaque.
  13. Sandy definitely blotted his copybook with the minutes applause for Bobby Shearer fiasco and 80 years of sectarianism comments which is a pity. One of my heroes in the 70s, a truly world class player who is the best right back I've seen playing for us.
  14. I saw you all walking past it. I'd have stayed and watched your game but it was cold and wet.
  15. Who is the other woman in the picture? Me!!! Ooops, I forgot you know me. I think she is a councillor but I don't know her name.
  16. You are never alone when other members of the Ranger s family are there.
  17. Unveiled today at a ceremony at the Football Centre at Glasgow Green by Heather Lang, granddaughter of Peter McNeil. A very proud moment for me to be there and at last a permanent reminder at the birthplace of our Club. Well done to all the Founders Committee for this and good to see the Club well represented too.
  18. He is also currently on the Board at Rangers as a non-executive director but, like you I don't think there is any truth in this. I sincerely hope not, it would be out of the frying pan and into the fire.
  19. Yes he did and I am grateful for that. Though it should be noted that he did so after the shares flotation had failed to source sufficient investment. Furthermore that £60 million investment was used to partly clear a crippling debt which he had sanctioned whilst in charge of the club. I don't think he ever thought that the share issue would raise significant funds from other parties. Your last sentence cannot be denied. Here's a question Bluedell, not sure you'll have the information to hand. Firstly, I'm not sure whether I'm mixing up the rights issue in 2000 or the later one. Am I right in saying that the shareholders could only buy the number of shares they already owned, effectively doubling their holding? If that was the case and everyone had subscribed to this, how much could have been raised? Would it have been what was raised plus the £5.6 (?) million unissued shares?
  20. I see the allegation about FF posted on Tuesday and then repeated last night by a very senior person on here has suddenly disappeared - again.
  21. If that's the case you have then to accept that RM and all the other websites (combined) mentioned represents a significantly lower percentage. Face facts.
