  1. 9/10 wannabe goalies on here don't play for the Rangers.
  2. A sensible answer, must have come from a female. The reality is that there is no Edgar V Blythe. Both are commited Rangers fans who want the best for the Club but maybe have different ideas on how this should happen. Ross was hung out to dry earlier this year on radio. He was forced to admit that he agreed with all 17 points made in the WDB campaign but didn't back it. Let's face it, turkeys don't vote for Christmas. The Assembly is funded by the Club and will never come out criticising it. The Trust is funded by subscriptions from our members plus our own fundraising efforts. Therefore, if we think that the Club is not being run properly we can say so, the Assembly can't and wont. That said, the Trust has always given 100% support to the team.
  3. And slagged off the Rangers away support into the bargain. He needs to get rid of this gold digger.
  4. SDM pulls the strings,Murray feels the songs an embarrassment to the club and used BOTH the RST & the RSA to try and convince your average Rangers supporter that it was really UEFA who send a direcitve stating all forms of the tune 'Marching through Georgia' were now banned. as we now know this is total bull, you only have to watch matches played in both the SPL or the EPL to hear supporters blasting it out. someone somewhere's telling porkies,i wonder who..... Rangers supporters were banned from singing it, no other fans were included. It was all down to using the word fenien. The guys I know who attended the meeting are not the type to roll over and do what SDM says. They saw the letter from UEFA and that is why they signed up to asking the fans not to sing it. I had my doubts about this too at first but I completely trust the guys who attended the meeting.
  5. I'm also aware of it, Frankie, the Trust, TBO, whoever can say what they want on the issue. The fact that they got together with Murray and came out and urged people not to sing it was a fecking joke! Jim, The fight had already been lost. There was no appeal so we were left with the prospect of being fined (or much worse) by UEFA and perhaps the authorities in Scotland. Although nobody was particularly happy about it, what else could we do? IMHO their never was directive from UEFA, so both the RST & the RSA lied to the supporters because Murray told them too Why do you think they would lie to fellow bears? Because Murray told the to? Get a grip.

  7. I can't speak for the Assembly but when has either organisation worked against the fans? An example would be the UEFA directive alledgedly shown to both parties at a meeting, and said parties told not to disclose information to fans. I'm aware that people were shown the letter from UEFA but struggling to think what information could not be disclosed to fans as I was led to believe the content was pretty much what was released by the Club. There are people out there trying to suggest that this directive didn't even exist and that it was SDM and Bain who wanted TBB banned. That is totally untrue.
  8. I can't speak for the Assembly but when has either organisation worked against the fans?
  9. What or who do you think is capable of getting the backing of the majority of the support? The only thing we all agree with is that we want a winning team on the park. Everything else causes a difference of opinion.
  10. Copycats. http://www.rangerssupporterstrust.co.uk/rs...58&Itemid=1
  11. No, but it could make money for us so that we could afford to buy players, unlike now.
  12. It's my attic and I'll fry if I want to. You know, if Celtic fans websites mocked the tragic deaths of Coop and Bobby McKean we'd rightly be up in arms about it.
  13. I realise they aren't comparable. The thread was just to confirm my suspicion that with the majority of fans, what happens on the pitch now has greater priority over projects that could help club finances in the future. It wasn't meant to be a debate about the feasibility of a museum. For the record, I want both too.
  14. people seem to forget that murray has spent in excess of 150m on rangers, and had very little back, and remember the share issue? he bankrolled that to the tune of 50mil! unfortunately we dont have anybody whos goinfg to invest in our club in the short term so murray probably doesnt think its worth putting in anything more just to appease us fan especially the way the share issue went when no one put there hands in there own pockets wexcept him! im not trying to say that hes always right but few would argue that over the course of his tenure hes been one of the best chairman were ever likely to see. (unless of course the man city owners are looking to throw us a couple weeks of his wages! ) When was this?
  15. It wasn't David Murray's money that bought players.
  16. Seriously though, theres space around Ibrox. I've written this before, but one idea in Ibrox at the minute is for them to flip the pitch around, so the goals are where the dugout is, and have a whole new bit built, knocking down every stand but the main. Then the main stand inside would turn into the museum. Yes but I said £2m was available, not £200m
  17. This is purely hypothetical but based on a conversation I had today I was wondering what other fans thought. The Trust, along with many others, have been trying for years to persuade the Club to consider having a Rangers museum. Somewhere that we can display all the things we have locked away because the trophy room isn't big enough and somewhere that will tell the full history of the most successful club in the world. Marketed properly to tourists and tied in to the stadium tour, catering and the Superstore this could make money for Club for many years to come. So, the question is, if £2m was made available tomorrow, would you rather the money was invested in a museum or in a centre half?
  18. That's been costed. £250K was the quote I believe.
  19. Nah, it's just that we agreed in the Kevin Thomson thread and I got worried.
  20. Ignore the facts and attack the manager, it's all you do..... Like you did with FF earlier in the thread?
  21. I heard it was September 31st awaits the obvious reply So obvious that I don't know what you mean.
