  1. We have got to stop passing the ball backwards we put ourselves in so much danger.
  2. Surely someone at the club can see that when we slow the game down to keep possession we constantly get the opposite effect by losing the ball. When we play at pace we can beat anyone in the league. Jack and Sands must be replaced.
  3. wrong side yet again from Sands, surely there must be a youth player who can play centre half?
  4. That is seriously frightening, he is a very poor centre back who seems always to be on the wrong side of any opponent. His speciality also appears to be the clearance to the opposition or the bounce off team mates. It has been obvious that he fails to make the grade in midfield.
  5. Yes and the tactics will still be to hold out for penalties.
  6. So true! Our coaching of kids had been a disgrace for years.I remember watching my kids at the end of a coaching school day. Half pitch used and the SFA coach, a former international centre back, just kept on screaming “launch it,” so the ball went from one end to the other and only the big lads at the back touched the ball in the quarter hour I waited.I-asked my kids what else they did before I turned up and they took a few free kicks, a few kicks with a moving ball, a lot of running and the rest was other versions of what I saw.My grandson goes to coaching sessions with Spartans in Edinburgh and it seems to be skill based with drills emphasis on control and touch and small sided games which he loves. Hopefully, we are progressing at last from the negative approach that has hampered the development of skilful forwards for 30 odd years.
  7. Very few keepers are stupid enough to rush out and get blocked trying to get a hand ton crosses in that area. Those that do usually end up with egg on their faces. Our best keepers recently, Goram and Klos Never left their line at corners. The last keeper who would do that was Chris Woods in the eighties. Our problem at set pieces is setting up the way we do, slow reactions and poor concentration from defenders who cannot impose themselves physically.
  8. He is always caught on the wrong side of his opponent no matter where he plays. He is simply a very poor player in defence and lacks the vision and passing ability in midfield to be of any use there. A lot of shite players have played for their countries and been given league winners medals including in Scotland.
  9. I took him to his first match when he was 5 and it was truly magical to see his face when we got to our seats. he was hooked on everything Rangers ever since. You will both have the best time when you can take him.
  10. England pretty well had a bye to get to the group stages same as in 2018, this time the draw did not go their way.Nevertheless the pundits were still positive that they would go all the way and “bring football home”. To be honest with the players they have available the semi final should have been achievable especially with France missing so many expected starters in this tournament. It was embarrassing to see Maquire attempting to get penalties late in the game by throwing himself to the ground and silence from Dixon about this.
  11. I am sceptical about and rarely go to friendlies but my grandson was desperate to go and I really enjoyed the first half and the last ten minutes. First half we looked really fluent withTillman and Kamala looking class players and King vocally organising the back line. When the usual suspects in midfield came on after the break we resorted to the sluggish backwards play and intermittent accurate passing. When Lowry and McCann came on we were by far more incisive with quick forward passing. The main thing I took from the game was playing and passing quickly through the middle and the change from the slow build up and the eventual hopeless cross from wide which we have suffered so often this season and before.
  12. Out of interest which injury was this, the 2021, the 2022 or any of the earlier injuries contributing to his problem?
  13. The enclosures would be the most suitable for standing and singing section.
  14. So to summarise; camera shows the ball is out and VAR. mock up shows in? If only Collum and Clancy were there to properly make decisions.
  15. A quick check on Google or any of the football stats sites should have created a huge rad flag surely? His 12th managerial post in 18 seasons when the board gave him the job, I wonder if anyone questioned his CV.
  16. True, he tore Souter apart and showed up McLaughlin big time.
  17. That truly went out the door when Pedro the chancer was appointed.
  18. He will never get an EPL job, football has moved on from the 80's style of play that Dyce, Pulis and Allerdyce stuck to.
  19. The next manager has to be someone who is a winner, someone who knows about winning. Not a battler who thinks success is not losing and not someone who says yes to any shit players suggested by Wilson.
  20. Put down Souttar, Helander, Jack and Roofe. Get rid of Matondo, Davis McGregor. Keep Goldson, Tavenier and Alfredo
