  1. Forlan's exact words were: "He lit it and threw it literally right under my nose, whizzed past my face by about 12 inches."
  2. It was forlanssister who said it and and he's not the type of guy to make something like that up, so it must have flew past him pretty close.
  3. Miss the buzz of the fixture and the high of beating them. Don't miss the deflation of losing to them or the stench they leave hovering in Govan.
  4. I'm sure he's relieved it was a flare that just missed his face and not your floppy!
  5. Apparently the flare just missed one of our fans who's in a wheelchair. He says it flew past his face only missing him by about 12 inches.
  6. Well deserved victory today and at least we can't get Motherwell in the next round!
  7. Falkirk only just laid that new synthetic pitch this summer and it's state of the art artificial turf, so will have cost a fortune to get installed. Then we turn up with clowns who think it's funny to burn a hole in it FFS.
  8. Jon, I hope you're ok mate. I wouldn't like to think you'll run at a loss financially on the project, so feel free to put mine back in the pot if it looks like you're going to lose money. All the best, Z
  9. The ASA and other authorities must be sick to that back teeth of being pestered by those obsessed clowns.
  10. Ally as a manager has a strange effect on some of our fans gogzy. He's like Kryptonite to them. They start going mad and saying all sorts of loopy shit.
  11. It's an absolute certainty that we had fans tonight who would have taken a loss and a cup exit if it meant Ally got the sack.
  12. This doesn't apply to everyone who was moaning about the game, but the Ally haters were just waiting for us to go out of the cup tonight. You could smell their disappointment at not being able to type sack the manager in upper case all over the shop. GIRFUY
  13. Btw, was Rothen not supposed to be a free kick specialist?
  14. Embarrassment is probably the only word which describes that ridiculous double and triple touch free kick they keep attempting, especially when it's so close to goal like that. At best they're just playing blooter and hope pinball with what should really be a decent opportunity. That was Jig's call last night though and it seems as though it's his own set piece. Black didn't look like he wanted Jig to do it and I don't believe Black himself would have done anything like that if he'd been taking it himself.
  15. Hubba bubba! That's magic! It's only taken 8 months to get it on there since the deal was officially announced in February. I hope that's not a sign of how long it'll take to get money out of the deal or we'll still be waiting on it in 3 years time.
  16. As far as I know, the majority of their shareholding has been acquired from people who paid virtually nothing for the shares in the first place (Green & co), so they haven't actually invested any hugely significant amounts of money into the club. If James Easdale purchased his shares in the IPO then IIRC that was in the £250k to £300k ballpark. Personally, I think their appointments to the boards of our club and the holding company PLC are suspicious because I don't see any evidence to support those appointments as being either necessary or appropriate. It appears to me as though one of the major reasons they were given the appointments was that they promised to buy shares from certain individuals such as Green who paid hee haw for his shares. I think the whole thing stinks and I'd be a lot more comfortable with them if they just stay in the background as shareholders rather than be sitting in positions of power at Ibrox.
  17. I'm sure the Club could easily make a list. It wouldn't be too difficult to list the main Rangers haters in the Scottish media and ban them all. It wouldn't even need to be done in one swoop/swipe, it could be done on an 'as necessary' or 'as required' basis.
  18. There's more spin in that statement than a fly-wheel. Fly being the operative word?
  19. The employers deserve a lot of criticism for allowing and condoning some of the stuff that individuals (and groups of them in cahoots) have been getting up to over the years and are still getting up to to this day, especially at BBC Scotland, Pacific Quay (CSC). However, I completely agree with you (and Traynor). The Club should ban the individuals rather than their employers because that will be a far more sensible, targeted and ultimately effective strategy.
  20. Britney trying to paint a picture of Dave King as a convicted criminal. What a fud.
  21. Murray & co offered to pay for the massive costs of posting out the new AGM notices with the new resolutions added which will run into tens of thousands of pounds. That doesn't strike me as someone who "wanted to cost the club more money".
  22. It was the board's tactics in trying to block legitimate EGM requisitions and director proposal resolutions for the AGM which caused the need for the court case. The board then tried to buy Murray with the 'offer' of a seat on the board, which he was right to refuse because if he's like a lot of other fans, then he doesn't trust them as far as he could throw them and wouldn't have risked ending the court case on the back of one of our board's now infamous verbal agreements.
  23. It wouldn't be the first time you had done that....
