can't understand why folk on here are rubbishing this idea as has been said before, the informaion is there to be used, and obviously the players who FM think are/will be good might turn out to be shit but so what? they may see a wee player from poland or whatever, with great CA/PA, who plays for a no mark team, then they could scout him in real life and he could turn out to be a fucking gem of a player, who just so happens to be available for peanuts. not as silly an idea as it sounds, and i for one would support this :-) couldn't do any harm imo

just a wee side note here. try starting a game, with your normal database, whichever you use. but add all players from scotland too. i started a game in league 2 with port vale, so i could pick up great bargains in the scottish lower leagues. can get some good players, for a fraction of the price they'd cost in england. anyway, the beauty of this is that because there are so many scottish players in the game, after a few seasons, you start getting world class scottish regen players coming thru, in almost every scottish team, which if you are quick u can snatch :-) think it was about 2015 by this time, and levein got the tin tack, so i dually applied for, and was offered, the job of scotland manager. so i was able to to this and still manage my all scottish port vale team. no joke about this, i guided scotland to number one in the world, winning the euros along the way. i am sure i have a screenie somehwre, i must find it

install it with steam, that way you can just log into your new pc and log into your steam account and play the game from there.

buy the game ya fuckin skinflint on a more serious note, i don't imagine u could patch a torrented game, but it may work, not too sure though. Just remember if it works, that you can't apply a patch to a saved game, you wil have to start a new game for the patch to kick in.
