  1. Tim by Avatar, Tim by answer Very mature post. How dare I rate a t**g before one of our very own. As for the avatar comment, I did LOL.
  2. Should be a good game, Paraguay are a good team and Argentina simply need a result. Aguero to score!
  3. Brown for me. Very overrated atm, but if he can work on his technical ability and add goals to his game, he'd be brilliant.
  4. Wouldn't say Villareal, they just ticked through Riquelmie(sp) who is one of the best players I have seen. I thought Senna was the stand out for them.. Which confirms after all that you know hee-haw about football. After your comment yesterday which gave me a riddy, for you, this just takes the biscuit. If I had a fucking clue what you are talking about your post might make some sense to me. But you seem to be confusing me with somebody who gives a fuck about anything you might have to say. The comment you made yesterday in the Kenny Miller thread. I said what Miller doesn't have, Boyd does, and what Boyd doesn't have, Miller does. You said that'd be fine if they were the one person. If one person contained the attributes that a quality partnership consisted of, he'd be the best fucking player in the world you tit. Why the fuck else would there be a partnership? To compliment others, perhaps? Now I know there's fans who just understand goals, like your good self, but no player in the world will have the attributes of a quality partnership. Rooney needs a big target man. Slow defenders like Weir need someone who's quicker physically than them, but maybe not mentally. Central midfield partnerships are crucial, because you'll normally have one who sits back and shields the defence and one who goes forward and darts into the box... It'd be great if there was a player who had Makelele's defensive attributes and brain, and Iniesta's attacking talents, but it just doesn't and can't happen. Wouldn't it be great if Rooney was 6ft5 and brilliant in the air, but still had the acceleration, speed and touch that he currently has? Yeah, but it's fucking nigh on impossible, which is why Capello plays him with Heskey for England and we see the best of him. And to claim Senna was better than Riquelme, or made them tick more than Riquelme did is just fucking ludicrous, and further proves my point that you only know "YAYYY GOAL, YA DANCER" in football. Smoothie

Which confirms after all that you know hee-haw about football. After your comment yesterday which gave me a riddy, for you, this just takes the biscuit. Is that not just an opinion? Senna is hardly a bad player after all, and it wouldn't be the first time he'd made the Yellow Submarine tick He's not a bad player, you're right. But he's nowhere near the level Riquelme was when we played them, and anybody who actually knew a thing or two about the game would know who Villarreal's playmaker and star man was in those games. I understand he's entitled to his opinion, but I think it's so clear Riquelme was a far bigger threat than Senna ever was.
  6. I've never took a flag to a game, probably never will. Scarves are a lot better, IMO, Rangers related stuff. Great sight when everybody is twirling their scarves, just quite annoying when the wanker in front of you is waving a flag about during the game.
  7. Alexander Fleming has got to be a great shout.
  8. Ferguson, Stein, Smith and Shankly. If we were having managers on the list, I'd go for them 4. I don't think any of them are the greatest ever Scots though.

  10. I should point out, I also think keeping guys like Davis is far more important than signing a guy like Rothen.
  11. I think the fans will give us the edge, personally. We could say Rothen is giving us an edge on the playing field, but so is Kuzmanovic, Hleb, Pogrebnyak, Zokora and Negredo for our last 16 rivals, but I think the fans at Ibrox are what gives us the edge. Very intimidating place for opposition players, they'll shit themselves when they hear us, they won't when they see Rothen, that's my point.
  12. Me or the OP? If me, I was being sarcastic...
  13. Agreed, it's awful questions, but they also asked Macedonia if they were coming here for a draw. It's just retarded questions, nothing else in it. I don't think the BBC or whoever interviewed them are trying to lick arse and get in with the Dutch players. The OP is just trying to blend in, he sees people saying Celtic fans try and create special relationships, he giggled at it, tried to understand what they meant obviously, but giggled all the same, then thought he'd use it against the Scottish press, when it's completely unjustifiable.
  14. They do it with every top Side that Play Scotland. Try and make out the Tartan army are the best support in the World ECT. not just this interview but others. this is just an Example. And asking them if they will give us a chance. it's just sad. Again, I ask, how does them asking pointless questions constitute as "Creating Special Relationships"? I'd understand if they greeted the Dutch squad at the airport with with weed and hookers ffs.
  15. How Exactly is asking Them a simple Question trying to Create a Special Relationship?
  16. Scotts, disable your internet please. My wrist is getting sore from constant facepalming.
  17. My Uncle & cousin work down there. when was this.?? It says yesterday in the post you quoted...
  18. Fifa's a lot more realistic than PES, a lot better game-play too, imo.
  19. Are you saying Lafferty is NI's best known player? No chance, it's Jonny Evans, as far as worldwide reputation goes.
  20. Every game adds up though...
  21. Spot on, would've been a footballing great. Similar to Georgie Best, although he does go down as a footballing great because he's arguably the greatest player ever, but could've been so much better with a different lifestyle.
  22. Which would be fine if they were one player..... If one player had every quality attribute that a partnership consists of, he'd be the result of a one night stand between Diego Maradona and Franz Beckenbauer.
  23. Miller should get picked before guys like Lafferty because he compliments Boyd best, which is absolutely vital for goals in this team. Lafferty has scored 22 goals in his 130 club games, Kenny Miller has played considerably less games than that in his Rangers career alone, yet has more goals, plus whatever he brings to the table from his brilliant teamwork and work rate. I think Boyd-Miller is a brilliant partnership because they're just so different that they compliment each other so well. I know Boyd will get goals no matter who he partners, as he's just a born goalscorer, I think we get more out of him overall with Miller alongside him. Certainly makes things a lot easier. I'm a big fan of Miller and like to focus on the positive things he brings to the team, and not what he doesn't bring to the team. What Boyd doesn't bring to the team, Miller does, and whatever Miller doesn't bring to the team, Boyd does. Simple as that really, for me anyway.
