    He needs to learn that sometimes it is necessary to lay the ball off earlier. As fantastic as he is to watch, there are occasions when he ignores a good opening because he wants to go past another couple of defenders.

    Perhaps "easy targets" is more accurate then. Non the less my point is the same, had it been two popular players, nobody would be upset, they'd be praising the team spirit being shown. But it's fashionable to dislike those two.
