Mendes was our one creative 'out' The commenators even remarked at how little he gave away Where him (and Rothen) dwelled it was simply because the other players did not see the space That will hapen and should not be a reflection on Pedro (or Rothen) On at least 4 occasions he gave away the ball with what were extremely easy passes. Really disappointed with him tonight. apart from a few bad passes what did he do wrong ? a think too many people are expecting him to get the ball and spring a perfect pass on countless occasions !

IMO the way it will turn out is , at most a point against sevilla at home then aiming for 6 against the romanians , if we get beat of sevilla but then get 6 of the romanians i could see sevilla beating stuttgart twice for a must win game for stuttgart at ibrox :D

Mcculloch came in at the last minute and was pretty poor in the first half but got better as the game went on , it was an arguable performance i would say.

What a totally inaccurate and misleading assessment of the player performances. Are you being serious ? Mendes - ( Class ? ), Davis ? Thomson ?, Surely you were watching on the Radio ? What did mendes do wrong apart from a few wayward passes in the second half , davis was great as usual and as i said thomson wasnt at his game at first but came into a game and looked like his old self as the game went on im sure it was you who was listening on the radio if you think mendes was awful ? what did davis do wrong ? and thomsons performance is arguable !

Great Second half performance and jerome rothen doesnt look like he lacks pace at all , he was fantastic today and his dribbling is neat he runs at defenders and his delivery is just magic. Mcgregor - Good - apart from the blunder at the cross he was good Papac - Okay - made mistake for the first goal but got better as the game progressed Whittaker - Good - good perfromance overall Mcculloch - Solid - all the mcculloch bashers slating him but i thought he was solid today and didnt put a foot wrong Bougherra - Magnificent - solid at the back , very neat and tidy play and then magnificent link-up with rothen and wonderful goal Thomson - Faultless - i thought he took time to settle but in the second half he looked his old self , breaking up play and getting in there faces Davis - V.Good - always wanted the ball and tracked back very well also went close at the end Mendes - Class - alot of great touches and looked very comfortable Naismith - Great - worked hard all game and was unlucky not to score , looks like he could be a key player in the title run Rothen - Brilliant - showed his class today with great crosses , drifted form left to right and always wanted the ball , always positive and rarely a pass backwards Miller - Okay - the workrate was there but his touch wasnt , alot of running from the lone striker and put in a good shift My opinion on today and i thought they have reedemed themself from saturday ! Great second half and neat passing and kept the ball brilliantly in the second half !

u would sub rothen ? and mcculoch upfront .... rothen has been our best player so far and theres only one man to save the day and thats krissy boyd MON THE GERS stop hounding them and get behind them we are still in this !

Hleb is starting , mcculloch is at centre back , rothen and naismith playing , thomson davis mendes in the middle and miller upfront !

And on october 4th there will be another win for old watty

If weirs out thats a major blow ! especially having to put mcculloch at centre back. we can get away with putting him there against the likes of hamilton but stuttgart ! this can only be bad rothen should get started ahead of naismith , IMO his experience and set peices + delivery and passing could be vital. lets hope davie makes it

Rothen all day for me , naismith is in great form but he isnt a left winger and i would rather have an out and out winger than a striker on the left. for me i would rather go with rothen on the left and naismith/novo and lafferty/boyd upfront , with rothen on the left and either lafferty or boyd upfront that could become a very deadly partnership

Just seen on sky sports news that hleb is a doubt for the game with a back injury ! Great news for the gers if their star player doesnt make it I think in a game like this it will be a tight match with 1 goal seperating the sides so i think walter will go with rothen on the left due to the fact that set peices could be vital for nicking a goal. Mon the Gers !
