Chasing shadows for 45 minutes. We're miles off it today, no energy or effort in the middle of the park at all. Honestly can't work out what our tactics are other than to launch it up the park to no-one and hope for the best. Beale has got things badly wrong so far, big change in personnel and attitude needed at half time.

It's not sustainable and at some point we're not going to manage to get back into the game regardless of what Beale says or does at half time. Still think we're treading water a bit and struggling to implement what Beale wants, as we all know the squad desperately needs freshened up now. We can't afford to scratch around until the summer, we need new faces in the door to get then settled in and ready for an assault on the league next season.

If they don't then Beale won't hang around long. Next two weeks will probably tell us everything we need to know.

Had the world cup break to go on an intensive fitness programme, club and player both to blame it's completely unacceptable the condition he's in physically. Can't see there being many clubs battling over his signature, wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in the middle east or back to South America and retiring by the time he hits 30.

As soon as they scored it looked like his head dropped and he along with the rest of us thought "here we go again". Improved in the second half and great penalty but he's really treading water these days, particularly since he signed his long term contract extension.

Biggest problem for him is that when he does find a bit of space with the ball there's absolute no movement in front of him and the tarrier midfield just swamps him.

I'd honestly offer Morelos and Kent a free transfer tomorrow morning just to get then off the wage bill.

This will be an eye opening day for Beale, don't think he's ever quite understood what he was coming back to and how far we've regressed since he left. As most of us knew a complete clearout of the old guard required, if he doesn't have the guts and financial backing to do it then he'll be out the door by Xmas, if he even lasts that long.
