  1. Was in attendance today and I have got to play tribute to the flute playing young team on their magnificent vocal support( cracking wee sash bash).I have to thank the Dalry player who got sent off after 10 mins for having a fly punch at one of our players. Easy days after that. Well done George your players done you proud.
  2. channel 4's italian coverage at the time was brilliant. Other than rangers players, Roberto Baggio was the payer I idolised. During the Sunday show, when it came to half time and you got to see the goals of the week, signori used to score some screamers. zola's free kicks weren't bad either. Italian football at that time was truly special.

  4. if you get to the elusive mark yourself drop me a line mucker
  5. hi you, I have played you a good few times at haxball the least you could do is take ma post serious
  6. Thank you for your reply and yes I am deeply serious. Having the opportunity to coach children and see these parents, that you also witnessed, who aren't at all motivated by sport, shall we say, is one of the reasons why I coach. The children I speak highly of however have highly motivated parents and this is a worrying aspect for me. If parents dont instill motivation towards football or any other sport we will lose them to the x box or playstation.
  7. I supposse that when a poster with less than 10 thousand posts,on this forum, starts a discussion about childrens football development it is entered with caution. With that in mind I respect all your speculative accusations. I too would be suspicious of a poster with such a low post count I will wait until I have ten tousand and one posts before I ask this same question, on this forum, but by that time I fear these children in question will be worth millions. But at the disposal of another club!
  8. no you leave it, Insinuate elsewhere.
  9. If I were to be, perhaps, the coach of the team that these kids, in question ,are invoved in. Who could I contact to get them tied to our club before others get them.
  10. Get a grip! where exactly? If you havent anything constructive to say take your assumptions elsewhere.
  11. Where exactly did I say I 'watched kids play in the park'
  12. If you are anyone who takes an interest in football at their local park, you are sure to be able to spot youngsters who you feel are better than other players of the same age group. But what if you see a kid who is head and shoulders above everyone 2 years older. Myself personally would love for this child to represent rangers. I see two children like this every week and hope that they do not get picked up by anyone else. I bet throughout the country there are are others in similar circumstances and like me do not know who to get in contact with to get these kids recognised by our club.
  13. I'm sure it was man utd when they beat bayern in that memorable last gasp win.
  14. I hate typing this as I love my club and fully support all who don the jersey, but the defenders that we have on show just now, to answer the question, will not be stalwarts. As much as they are doing a half decent job at this level, any higher I fear they will struggle.
  15. make of it what you like, connotations of a knife/blade/weapon are hurt, pain, scar(reminder) which could be his pain and hurt of leaving us, fighting (sticking up)for us through this last year and forever reminded of his time and love for us.love the wee man. great gesture.
  16. hahahaha 7 year old and wanting to go to hamburg. quality.
  17. no need for him to pander! if he didnt love us he wouldnt tweet us.
  18. Aye is it, can only access it on my phone
  19. You were a fantastic company sergeant major and then the epitome of how a regimental sergeant major should be.During those times i was greatfull for your advice and loved how you spoke to everyone in the same cosiderate manner no matter what rank they were. knowing how much you love football and our club, it sickens me that you were taken from us while playing the sport. Thinking you are safe inside your own base and then some animal backstabs and leaves Sonia without a husband and Callum without a dad. absolutely sickening! It was an honour to have known you Walter. RIP Sir. The whole of Afghanistan is a dirty playing field, where the bad guys will always win because the good guys have to play to the rules whereas the bad guys dont. Its time to either get nasty or if that aint an option bring the boys home.
  20. was tom walsh the captain of the youth team that beat celtic in a shoot out in last years final?
  21. I think someone is forgetting how talented RDB was. Even when he came to us he was still utter class. wee piece of individual brilliance at 6.18 brings back some decent memories.
